The nigiri sushi with mushrooms was one of the best bites I have had in Malaga! Our server recommended the Papas de Bosque with portobello mushroom skewer and they were delicious. The mushroom bao bun was good too! We enjoyed everything we ate! The brownie and ice cream were okay.

Second visit: we tried the mushrooms with pate and I’m not a fan. Flavors don’t work for me and seemed bland. Definitely a fan of the papas de bosque and the nigiri(mushroom one… I could eat 10 of them).

Good papas del bosque - Edit
As the previous comment states, the restaurant is quite spacious, especially in comparison to most of the restaurants in the old town, which is nice. The waitress was attentive and they have wifi and an online menu per qr code on which you can see videos of how each dish is prepared, which I think is awesome and really helps you decide what you're in the mood for. I like how creative and beautifully set up their food is.
Read moreI had the tapa version of the papas Del bosque which was so delicious. This dish definitely deserves five stars and I recommend it. The cashew dip was so so good and fit perfectly with the toasted peanuts and potatos. I could eat that again and again.
I also had the burrito verde, it was good but the taste didn't blow me away. They have quite a selection but the rest of the menu didn't entice me much.
Update: went again, had a mocktail that I sadly don't remember the name of which was really good. Also had the bigger version of the papas del bosque, the mushrooms were a bit too salty this time.

Very pleasant, clean and spacious restaurant, with helpful staff, not too crowded at 9pm on a Tuesday evening in March. Very convenient for most of the hotels which are situated in this part of town 5-10 minute walk. I had a raw burrito and banoffee pie which was rather cold.

The Best Vegan Restaurant in Malaga - Edit
It’s a little on the periphery of the old town but it’s well worth a visit. It’s quite a spacious restaurant too, not like many of the cramped restaurants in the tourist areas. And the staff’s command of English is excellent. The main attraction of this restaurant is taste. Everything is freshly prepared and sourced locally from a family farm, we were informed. So no processed food. For starters we had two Papa Del Bosque Tapas, and for mains we had one Burrito Verde and one Ensalada. All were delicious. The burrito was wrapped in a cabbage leaf. For dessert we had a Tarta de Manzana and a Raw Cake. Good pricing. Excellent service.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at Mimo. Both the food and the beverages menu sound fantastic. Their online menu even shows videos of the dishes, which helps you get a better idea of what you order. I chose the 'Papa Mágica', a roasted sweet potato stuffed with chickpea curry, spinach and tahini, served with marinated and flambéed cauliflower, roasted peanuts and sprouted coriander on fresh arugula leaves. All accompanied by a tangerine sauce and poppy seeds. The presentation was picture-perfect and the combination of ingredients creative, harmonious and satisfying. The matcha ginger beer mocktail was a refreshing hit, too. Last, I savoured their creamy pumpkin tart served with cashew cream and cinnamon, having a chai latte with it. Again, the use of spices was magical. The decoration of the interior is cozy and the team is lovely. Definitely a favourite in Málaga. #Veganuary

I couldn't believe it when the waiter brought me the bill before I had finished the meal, and it wasn't a mistake, there were only two tables with customers in the small establishment. The food was very heavy and I kept repeating it all day. Too many ingredients in dishes are like marzipan without a defined flavour. // No di crédito cuando el camarero me trajo la cuenta antes de haber terminado la comida, y no fue un error, solo había dos mesas con clientes en el pequeño local. The taco was good if you like it with pineapple.
The dessert was heavy, even for a vegan one.
The only thing I liked was the California sushi, though it was on the heavy side.
The atmosphere was nonexistent.
The staff was friendly and responsive.
Overall, it was expensive.
