Amazing food and service - Edit
The chicken skewers with a tahini dressing were delicious and one of the best vegan meals I've had out - would definitely have again. Loved the mezze brunch (only available on weekends I think), especially the vegan feta. Makes a nice change from the typical full English. The granola was nice but not really anything special and could do with a bit more coconut yoghurt. The smoothie however was lovely, as was the tofu scramble. Staff have been lovely at every branch I've visited and happy to make adjustments, such as making the scrambled tofu side.

Definitely one of the best vegan meals I’ve ever had out! The chick’n skewers were absolutely delicious, as were the summer rolls we shared to start. Perfect balance of flavours and a lovely, vibrant setting to enjoy the food in

Family favourite, never disappoints - Edit
Mildred's has been a popular choice of restaurant amongst my family for a while. Evolving menu and generous portions ensures we always leave with a happy belly! We particularly enjoyed the polish burger (please bring it back!) and sri lankan curry. The green falafel was yum but haven't seen it for a while now. Cheesecake is scrumptious.
Read moreNo onion and garlic menu available on request. Friendly staff and service. Kings Cross probably the easiest branch to get a table in my experience. Leicester square doesn't do reservations so often have to wait. Overall, very good value.

The creamiest vegan cheesecake ever! - Edit
I'm a long term fan of Mildreds - last visited earlier this year. A fantastic restaurant with a great menu. Personal favourites include the Sri Lankan curry and cheesecake out of the desserts!! (Used to also love the Polish Burger but not sure they do that anymore!). Overall very yummy!

Great Vegan Options - Edit
Mostly vegan restaurant with some vegetarian options that can usually be made vegan if you ask. A lot of the menu changes throughout the year, but everything is always tasty. If you're like me, and your favorite dishes always come out crispy or crunchy, then you can't go wrong with the gyoza or the banh mi. Dessert options are always fantastic as well.
Read moreNothing is cheap, but it's not too unreasonable for London. Try to arrive early because the place is packed from 6 to 8 every evening. You can usually take a seat at the bar while you wait, or order food to go if you're in a hurry.

A lovely meal - Edit
Great food and fabulous service! We were well looked after and food came quickly. My tofu and noodles tasted divine and my spouse's mock duck burger was just as tasty. We arrived just before 6 and were seated immediately but there were a few people waiting when we left.

Very tasty! - Edit
The place is cosy and the service is very quick. My salad was very good, the vegan cheese sauce was very convincing. I also tried the vegan teriyaki chicken burger and it was delicious. The bravas were a little bit too spicy but we liked them nonetheless. Expect a slightly expensive dinner so maybe you should save it for a special occasion.

Always tasty but overpriced - Edit
The food here never disappoints - they have a range of different cuisines from around the world and there is always something new (I only visit every few months though!) Staff are friendly and the place is always packed. Only problem is that it is overpriced, but this is London...

One of the best veg places around - Edit
We had the pumpkin gnocchi, harissa patatas brava a and the levant chick’n kebabs. It was all delicious and full of flavour. The kebabs had such a good texture: I had a hard time believing it wasn’t really chicken! Not too expensive as well

Always amazing - Edit
I have been to Mildreds many times in London and it never fails to impress me and my companion! The menu has its invariable corner stones yet interesting tweaks come regularly and the drinks menu is diverse. Strong recommendation for vegans and non-vegans alike – will convince the latter with a great certainty.

Very disappointed - Edit
I'm not usually fussy and I like supporting vegan places but this was awful.
Read moreWent for Sunday brunch with my partner. We waited 15 mins to order and the staff didn't make us feel welcome.
We ordered the blt. It was a tiny sandwich with a pile of undressed radishes and kale (What must have been left in the fridge). The side salad wasn't described on the menu which would have made a difference as my partner doesn't enjoy radishes.
My partner's sandwich had no aubergine bacon on one half and was essentially a salad sandwich. My sandwich was hastily assembled and fell apart.
Very poor service from the (perhaps rushed) staff.
It was 24 quid for 2 tiny sandwiches and 2 coffees and although I usually give places the benefit of the doubt it was a rip off.
We will not be coming back.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Overpriced, Bad service, Tiny portions

Mildreds - Edit
By all means, I want to love all vegan places, but I just can't seem to get excited about this place. I ate here during my last business trip and nothing really looked good on the menu. I decided to eat light during my visit and went with the artichoke dish. It was OK. The artichokes tasted like they were from a can, as I could taste the preservative. I just expected more from Mildreds since they're supposed to be a bit more fancy.

It’s alright - Edit
The food’s quite nice, but overpriced for what it is. Both times I’ve been I’ve had to go up to staff to tell them my order because they’ve been just talking to each other by the kitchen. Waited 15 minutes before getting up to order last time (it’s supposed to be table service)

It’s fine - Edit
Mildred’s is fine. There is vegetarian food and it is tasty. It is a solid 3 star restaurant (meaning “quite nice”, “acceptable”) that has some how gained an incredible reputation. When I went to King’s Cross Mildred’s, I had some small starters and then a veggie burger. It was fine.

Nice but a bit expensive - Edit
There was a huge wait, but we were offered a seat a the bar to wait. It wasn’t a long wait and the food came very quickly.
Read moreWe got the curry which was lovely and Bowl. Both were really nice but it’s quite expensive. A tip is automatically added to your bill and we had to ask to take it off, as we were already splurging on our travel budget to eat there, which was awkward. I feel like tips should be voluntary.
Pros: Nice, Quick service
Cons: Bit expensive, tip is automatically added to bill
