Just moved from NYC and was exploring downtown. Went to Mikes and was blown away by the Philly Cheesesteak and chocolate chip cookies. The place was clean, staff and owners already felt like friends. Can’t wait to go back!

Love love Mike’s Vegan Grill - Edit
Vegan food at its best. I had the Philly steak & cheese and it did not disappoint, it was so good. My husband had the Shrimp fettuccine and he was impressed. We were just passing through Winston-Salem and can’t wait to to go back. The service was great.

Food was awesome. I had the fried oyster mushroom Chikn and Waffles. The mushrooms were fried to perfection and large pieces. Waffles were light and crispy. Service was wonderful. Mike spoke to me immediately upon entering and several times during my meal. Definitely worth a try!

We were big fans of the food truck when we lived here before so when we were traveling through and saw they have an actual sitdown restaurant we were over the moon. The food is even better than I remembered, with even more choices! At the Winston location, they also offer a variety of authentic Indian foods, including Shar’s lentil stew, which is the best I’ve ever had! Not sure why someone said their food is bland because the buffalo chicken sandwich was spiced perfectly. The portions are large too - you def get your money’s worth.The cheese fries are always my favorite guilty pleasure. The owners are amazingly nice people too. Highly recommended!

We had some trouble finding parking. Service was very good. Food was tasty. Was disappointed they were out of grits. Rhetorical question: how can a restaurant in NC be out of grits?!

Over the top friendly staff that couldn’t be more welcoming. I tried the Philly Cheesesteak, chocolate chip cookies, blueberry tea and then asked it all down with a Carolina Hotdog. (That was a little overboard for me) All of it was delicious. Cheese Steak is one of their “favorites” for a reason. Would like to try some more option.

It’s vegan junk food that you can make at home with mock meats. It’s over priced and is a pretty bad intro for non-vegans. Been to the CLT location and W-S and disappointed both times. The ice cream is delicious, but it’s from Dream Cream down the street, sooooo not sure what else to say.

I had an incredible experience at Mike's Vegan in Winston! I mistakenly thought I’d placed an online order, but when I arrived, it hadn’t gone through. Mike himself was there and went above and beyond with kindness, offering me a complimentary meal that was already prepared. It included a burger, Philly cheesesteak, hot dog, and fries—every single item was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and made with care. I’m beyond grateful for Mike’s generosity and the amazing vegan food. This place is a gem, and I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

On vacation, I specifically wanted to come to Mike’s Vegan Grill because the menu looked awesome. The staff was very friendly, kind, and helpful when I had trouble making a decision 😂 I went with the buffalo chick’s sandwich, fries, and a mango lemonade. Everything was delicious and fresh. I would totally recommend them to anyone in the area!!! Annu was specifically nice 🙂

Great ALL VEGAN food. Was a food truck owner since 2019 and brick and mortar now. Soooo good. We had 5 meals and tried 4 so far. Pizza we will try later.
