Bad service

Initial Salad had missing ingredients and was drenched in dressing though they were kind to make another… however was not worth the price and was mainly just filed with lettuce. Pizza was ok but not worth the price. After i had barely finished eating i was told they close at 2:00 and i need to pay now. All in all, it was a strange vibe and i won’t ever be returning #Veganuary

Dear customer.
Our operating time are 10am - 2pm and 5pm - 10pm, Sorry that we cant keep opened the whole restaurant for just only you. For the salad, what you got is what you exactly saw in the picture with the price before making order. You complained about the salad you got after the ate almost all but we still made you the new one which actually nothing different with the first one but only serving the dressing separately. We have tried our best to made you satisfied. Sorry if it still not enough for you.

😂 No i never ate most of it all and there was a lot of missing ingredients as to what you claimed to offer in the menu. Seems like you are more about the money and profits rather than offering good customer service 🤢

Everything seemed stale and pre-made! Vegans can do so much better in BKK

I ordered the Kao Soi, Pad Thai, Green curry wraps and the tofu in holy basil. Everything was tasteless by Thai standards. Owner seemed more interested in self-promotion than in serving good food. Very avoidable! #Veganuary

Dear Customer,
We always listen and accept our customers complain.
But for your review, we need to say, it's not true at all.

First, we cook every dish newly as it's our standard. We never done as you wrote at all.

Second, for the taste, no one wrote the review like you at all. We always accept the complain as it can help us grow. But we really can't accept the word "tasteless" as we are sure it's not true. How about maybe there was something wrong with your tongue that time for some reason? Because our food is renowned for its exceptional taste. You can check the review of other customers.

Third, it was not self-promote at all. It was story telling and making friend. Whenever I'm in the restaurant, I will try to talk to our customers always. First, to make the customers know the restaurant better and Second, to see if I can help them anything about Thailand which I always give out the personal phone number and tell everyone if they want a Thai friend to help them anything about Bangkok or Thailand, just text me. More than that I always ask everyone for the thing they might don't like, so we can check back and fix or improve if it's true. I'm sorry that you think in the negative way.

Disappointing, won't return

I came to Mercy Republic after reading strong reviews on HappyCow. It seemed like a high-quality vegan spot worth trying. When you arrive at the restaurant, there’s a sign on the table saying you’ll get free soyballs if you leave a review. However, they no longer serve them — instead, I was given French fries. Not exactly a fair trade.

I ordered the tofu with pork because it was recommended. The tofu was completely bland — just plain deep-fried with no seasoning. The pork was tasty, but to enjoy the dish, you really have to slice and eat both together in every bite. On its own, the tofu didn’t hold up.

The barbecue beef skewers were the highlight — flavorful and generously portioned with five skewers. Great for sharing, though a bit much for one person.

I also tried the garlic naan. I initially sent it back because it didn’t look like the photo (no garnish). When it was remade, the naan was nicely baked with a slightly salty taste — but there was absolutely no garlic flavor. It just tasted like plain naan.

The sticky rice tasted like what you’d expect — plain sticky rice — but the sauce it came with was bland, which made the overall dish feel boring.

I ordered the first pink mocktail on the menu — it tasted like boxed fruit punch. Not worth it.

On top of that, the environment was very loud due to the music, and the place was hard to find — it’s tucked away down a side street, not on the main road. At first, I even thought it was closed.

Would I come back? Personally, no. The overall experience didn’t match the reviews, and I left feeling disappointed.

Pros: BBQ sharing size

Cons: Tofu with pork - bland tofu

Dear customer.
When our soy bar is not available we always offer french fries or salad as the choices that the customer can choose before leaving review. So we dont think there is any problem. Customers can choosing to do or not to do. Its a choice.

For the Tofu Stuffed Stir-fried Holy Basil Plant-Based Meat, Its for tofu lovers. Many people love to eat plain natural tofu so we meant to made them like this to eat them together as it was written in the description of this dish: "Enjoy together for perfect harmony flavors"

For the sticky rice, it served with bbq grilled meat. There is no any sauce goes with them , Thai people normally eat the grill meat with sticky rice. So we think you got wrong with mayo that served with french fries.

We just want to explain for more understanding and we know its impossible to make everyone satisfied.

That's why we dont accept when you offered changing your review to be better exchange with our 15% discount.

Thank you.
