Came here on our first night in Bangkok, with Mercy G on the decks. Him and our server told us all about the ethos of the place with compassion being at the forefront. The food itself provided plenty of options and I highly recommend the papaya salad meat set and the curry fried banana blossom. Bags of flavour! I also had the pandan and lemongrass juice which was sweet and resfreshing.

Hidden gem down a laneway with delicious food, a great ethos and cool tunes. The homemade tofu is a winner and my non-vegan partner says the fish cakes are better than the real thing

Apparently they make their own tofu and it was really excellent, we had both firm tofu with a sauce and tofu noodles. The texture of both and the subtle flavor was phenomenal, easily the best tofu I've ever had. Unfortunately everything else we ordered was just average, such as a burger and a soup dish. I would definitely come back to order tofu.

Currently sat in this very chilled out vegan paradise. Note: it is just down the side street, don’t be fooled by the closed restaurant on the Main Street, that is not Mercy Republic, it is just a short walk down the alley under its street sign.
Read moreThe menu is large with top quality Asian fusion dishes. I tried things I’ve not seen anywhere else in Europe, Asia or America. And all of it was very nice. Note (again): the Mercy Croquette is filled with oozing cheese, more than I was expecting.
The restaurant has a very relaxed vibe. When I was in the owner was DJ’ing some smooth R&B at a level where you can still talk, but you can also just enjoy the mood.
Would visit again without question.

It's hard being vegan in Thailand, but thanks to this place I had my 1st ever Khao Soi. And wow, it was incredible. Firmly one of my favourite vegan restaurants I've ever been to!

Read moreSince the menu is quite big, it was very hard to choose! I really liked that they have so many Thai inspired dishes as well, but also standard western options, so that everyone can find something they like.
We ordered: Coconut Smoothie, Butterfly Pea Tea, Thai Papaya Salad, Ultimate veggie pizza
Stir fried pumpkin and homemade tofu with riceberry. Our favorite was the pumpkin dish.
Pros: Live Music & nice interior , Friendly staff, Big selection of food

The food was unreal! One of the best in Bangkok. Staff were so kind and even met the owner who took time to teach us some Thai and tricks of how to find vegan or Jay food during our time here. They helped accommodate for my husbands peanut allergy with now fuss. Gutted I didn’t take pictures but it was so good!
