Good food in a food court - Edit
Food court with different options available thant are vegan or can be made vegan. Price is a bit higher as this is clearly a place marketed for tourists.

Worth Multiple Visits! - Edit
There are so many vendors to explore here with vegan options. Lots of friendly people to join at the tables to eat as well! I’ve tried a little bit of everything, but the Plato Mixto Vegano from the family in the far corner opposite the entrance is my favorite. Not that I could say anything negative about anything I’ve tried here!!

Lovely place to relax with a book, socialise and eat great food - Edit
So happy I found this place! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options- mostly traditional Mexican food - i really recommend the chiliquiles and tamales! Affordable prices and good portion sizes (I definetly ordered too much food on multiple occasions!). Great vibes here too, it is very chilled and a nice break away from busier touristy areas. It was a lovely place to just sit with a coffee or aqua fresca and read my book for an hour

Lots of vegan prepared food options, limited groceries - Edit
This seemed to be more of a food court than a produce market like I was expecting. I was hoping to maybe find soya chunks and fresh mushrooms and cilantro and the other things that are missing from the supermarkets in the historic center, but no luck.
Read moreThe good news is that nearly every stall has a vegan option or two, although be prepared to pay a premium for them. This is definitely a “luxury” food court with mostly western tourist clientele, and it’s priced accordingly.

Hardly any veg options...no vegan options - Edit
Was hard to find any stall serving a veg meal. Definitely no vegan options found... I had to settle for a zucchini quesadilla from one vendor and eggs wiyh vegetables from another.

Affordable, tasty food and drinks - Edit
Several stalls here have vegetarian and vegan options. Make sure to triple check that dishes don't contain cheese. I love the corner stall, Dona Angelita, which has fried potato patties and nopal salad. I've been here almost every day just because it's delicious food and drink that won't kill my wallet!
