Good food, not great ambiance - Edit
We got the vegan spicy miso ramen and vegan creamy ramen. Both dishes were good, albeit very pricy given the lack of nice ambiance. There were only two other couples in the restaurant but they took 30 min to bring food out. Bathroom toilet wouldn’t flush and no working lights in there. We prefer mensho or marafuku in Oakland but this place was ok.

Vegan ramen with big flavor - Edit
So much vegan ramen is... subtle. But not here! There are four distinct styles of vegan ramen on the regular menu and they're all super flavorful. I love the tantan ramen and the spicy miso ramen - and oh man, the vegan karaage, perfectly crisp outside and tender inside and with a really good savory gingery sauce.
Read moreAll the food here is lively and full of beautiful little touches - microgreens, citrus slices, sprinkles of sesame seeds or ichimi pepper. Even the homey plate of curry rice is adorned with a little tumble of bright red pickled daikon jewels. It doesn't all have to be so beautiful, or so delicious, but it is, and for this I love them.

Delicious vegan ramen! - Edit
I would give this place 5 stars if I could (can’t bc it’s not a vegan restaurant). Their vegan ramen is the best I’ve had. So savory, so much umami, such rich broth, I had to double check those soy crumbles weren’t pork. It’s a no frills spot with busy but friendly servers. I will definitely be back.
