Toll eingerichtetes Restaurant im Herzen von Marseille, unweit vom Vieux Port. Wir waren zur Mittagszeit dort und hatten 2x Das Mittagsangebot. 1x Vorspeise Hauptgang und 1x Hauptgang Dessert. Alles war sehr lecker und liebevoll zubereitet und schön angerichtet. Absolute Empfehlung in Marseille 😊

Read moreWith a friend, we had three different (small) plates to share, and it was delicious: salmorejo, aubergine confite et courgette. We then took the cheesecake as a dessert, since the Pavlova was not “in good shape” as we were told. It was ok, but not very tasty, and the texture was a bit too slack.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back on occasion. also got the ubé latte (a local specialty), and it was very good!

I understand that this is a new (this year) vegan only venture & I think it deserves support, as I found the food to be delicious & the staff super friendly. I had a coffee & sweet snack this morning & liked it so much I went back for lunch. I too had the gnocchi & thought it was excellent😄

It’s a cute little restaurant with friendly and helpful staff, but the food just wasn’t worth the high price. The gnocchi we had was small and a bit bland, too oily and salty.

On Saturdays and Sundays, the restaurant prepares small portions for sharing. These portions cost between 8 and 12 euros on average, and they recommend 2 per person. We were three and we ordered five portions, which was more than enough for us. They even provide a portion of bread and water. Everything was delicious and had wonderful textures; we were especially impressed with the vegan egg. The service is also very friendly. I highly recommend it to anyone in Marseille!

Delicious, creative food with fresh ingredients and great service (our waiter was friendly and able to translate the menu into English for us, which was very helpful). This is the best vegan food I’ve eaten in quite a while, so we’re already planning to go back tomorrow when they change their menu. Would definitely recommend!

The most creative vegan place in Marseille to my knowledge, and the best vegan food I had in 10 years! The food is very tasty, the dressing is top notch and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They work with local producers (the list is displayed next to the menu), which might explain why it's slightly more expensive than other places, but it's cheap for such quality!

The Mauvaise herbe is a very comfy and classy place, very clean and tidy and has a good menu a la carte. Try the entree soup avione blanc. I liked my plate with fennel and a burrata style plant-based Mozzarella. Also liked the very golden restrooms. For such a comfort it is understandable, that the prices are a bit higher, but in accordance to Marseille per se.

I had a great lunch here with my family. The service was super quick and friendly, and we loved everything we tried. Even non-vegans in our group were convinced. I especial loved the aubergine ravioli and strawberry tart. Such a gem! If you're visiting Marseille, I would highly recommend you stop here.

Great attention to details from the choice of decor to the sublime dishes served. We were blown away by the imaginative menu. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We had the best time, sat in the beautiful Marseille sunshine eating, probably the best vegan meal I've ever had! Thank you Mauvaise Herbe! Mission accomplished!

I had the carottes and also the aubergine (see attached menu for details). Both were excellent! For dessert I had the biscuit amande and it was absolutely amazing! And the café Viennese was great as well! (I would give it more than five stars if that was an option.)
