You can add your own ‘toppings’ to your falafel here, which I loved! The sauces are amazing (get the garlic sauce if you like garlic!) and there’s a big choice of fillings! 🍅🥒🥬🥕🌶

Every place should have 1 of these. It was fast but tasty and me and my husband really enjoyed it. We had the falafel meal deal. Everything vegan inc sauces. Spicy mayo 😋. Well worth a try if you visit amsterdam

Maoz is great if you're in the mood for some nice fast food. Besides the traditional falafel they also offer shoarma (mushroom based) now. The taste is great. And of course you can pick your own extras from the salad bar which has a wide variety of things to pick from.

Great falafel, reasonable price and you get to add your own sauce and veg so you get it exactly as you want it. It is a take away place primarily with some seating. It's somewhere for a quick, affordable lunch, not a relaxed sit down meal. But it does that really well

This place is really well price, super filling and all vegan! Has various locations throughout the city so it’s super convenient to find. We went twice and had the meal deal both times, which offered chips, a falafel pita wrap in which you filled the salad/dressings yourself, and a drink for around 10€! Very well priced and is great for a quick easy meal that will leave you very satisfied. They had a lot of sauce options for chips as well which was great. Nice service as well, would recommend.

Says 'Vegan Fast Food', had chips and vegan spicy mayo. Much shorter queue than the place next door but it was just what I needed. The salad items looks great too so will try next time I visit Amsterdam!

I went here when my non vegan bf was starving and We didn’t have much time to find a proper sit down vegan place... it was okay - not the best falafel or the freshest pita. It’s refill so you can get as much salad as you want as you eat but it’s a small place so I couldn’t go back and forth comfortably

Used to love going here everytime I visited Amsterdam. So thought I'd try it out again. Was busy. Ordered a meal deal. Chips were nice. But the falafel had a hair in it, put me off completely and ended up throwing it in the bin. The staff should be wearing hats, gloves etc as I found it unhygienic. Would I go here again, nope.

Staff lies about what is vegan and is not willing to help you at all. Besides, it is totally not worth it. I bought a falafel with salad and I just got some lettuce with 3 pieces of falafel. I feel scammed.

You can't really go wrong - loads of salad options, falafel tastes really good, and lots of sauce options. You can even go back to refill the pitta with salad if you want to, and they offer fried aubergine as an optional extra.

Had falafel (5 pieces) with humus, lettuce and lots of veggies (you can fill it up on your own) in a pita bread. It was quite delicious but almost to many falafel and with the veggies stuffed on top a little bit hard to eat ;)

Very unfriendly staff, very facety women served us, really did not give a damn, just flung the food together, the man in there was no better, did not speak and coughed over all the food.

Amazing, cheap vegan fastfood - Edit
Maoz falafel is a part of an international chain, and they offer falafels in white or whole-wheat pitas, salad boxes and more. I took the normal size whole-wheat pita, and was amazed by the price and quality! Inside were five freshly made, tasty falafels, and you got to put all your own toppings in - as much as you like (and fits, so of course eating was messy but that is my own fault)! I think that 4,95€ for this is a cheap price. The only downside is that the shop was small so the pita filling station was quite crowded. Other than that, super awesome! The only stuff not vegan was one of the many filling salads and a few sauces, everything else was vegan.

Overall this was a nice place for a Vegan snack. I had the felafel in a brown pitta with hummus and added veggies from the salad bar. It was freshly cooked and tasted great!
