I tried the salad and the pita, with falafels and mushrooms. It was very tasty, I like how you can pick your own condiments. Everything is vegan, including the sauce. The place is a bit small and crowded.

The falafel was tasty and I filled my pita with as much salad and sauce as I could. It's a stone's throw from Central Station, which makes it an excellent choice for something to eat before catching a train.

The Salat Bowl with Falafel tasted good and I liked that you get to decide on your own how much of each salad you’d like to get. The bowl seemed small but was plenty enough.
Read moreThe staff however was just okay.. They seemed stressed (although I get that as it was quite busy) but the had trouble understanding our order and got it wrong 2 times and added hummus without stating that it costs extra. So take a look at the screen to check if it’s what you ordered..

The falafel is lovely, comes in a nice pitta with humus. Self serve salads to add into your pitta are delicious. Only downside is I wish I could fit more salad in my pitta!! Also quite hard to eat once you've stuffed them full of all the salads! Couldn't take a photo cause I couldn't hold the camera and the pitta haha!

It doesn't seem as exciting as some of the options available in Amsterdam because as vegans we've been living off falafel being the only option for such a long time that we get lured by newer exciting offerings. But there's a reason there are loads of this chain in Amsterdam and that's because it is really delicious.

Cons: Hard to eat without making a mess , (maybe that's just me?!) , Would like a "wrapped to eat later" option

The falafel are decent at this Maoz location. The interior is not that cozy, and the employees seem quite bored to be there. But the opening hours are a lot better than at most places in Amsterdam. So if you're waiting for your train or bus and are hungry, this is a good option.

Fantastic kabab shop style place serving vegan street food. They offer a choice of options two of which were hummus and egg plant (there were more) in either a salad bowl or pitta. There is a meal deal with chips and drink and the option to go large. There are plenty of great salads (self serve) so I suggest the salad bowl to get best value as it was hard to fit much in the pitta. Excellent value perfect for a quick bite.

Went there on a Saturday evening since I was hungry and must admit it was the best Falafel pita I ever had .. and the fries with the spicy mayonnaise were to die for. Additionally you have a vegetable bar that allows you to add what you want and how much you want to your Pita.

Read moreOn the plus side, the food is freshly made to order and inexpensive. There is a chip shop next door claiming they serve the best fries in Amsterdam. No they don’t, Maoz do.

Food was tasty, you pick your main filling and then add the extras yourself. We got 2 meals which cost around €25. I knocked a star off as the only seating available was outside which was wet, we also were charged extra for sauces with the chips however all the sauces at the end of the salad bar were free? The counter felt a bit chaotic with people jumping back in at the salad bar to get more toppings which I assume were free but held the queue up.

We arrived in Amsterdam starving having travelled over night from the UK, we had to wait until 11am for Maoz to open, I had a small pitta with egg plant (aubergine) and topped up with delicious salad, also had a portion of fries with mayo, also delicious! Hoping to go again for lunch tomorrow !!

Quick service, tasty falafel. Falafel is heated to order. You choose between a pita or salad base, can get hummus or eggplant/aubergine for an extra fee, then you add your desired toppings once the falafel is freshly cooked. Store was clean and toppings were stocked. Seating is available inside and outside.

Convenient & fast service. Good sized salad bar, pita sandwich choices and sauces for fries. The fries with spicy mustard reminded me of patatas bravas in Spain. Seen others refill on toppings and sauce, but i was not sure that was hygienic or allowed so I ate mine dry af towards the end. But it was one the most delicious falafel pitas I've ever tried, after a very long flight and lack of sleep. Would recommend for traveling & a quick bite.
