Chic vegan daily menus - Edit
I love Mandala so much, their 3 course daily menus are always tasty and fresh, from very good quality ingredients. The menus are not repetitive. Small place with nice enterieur.

My visit was just perfect! It's a little difficult to find. It's inside a pale pink building opposite a parking lot. I missed when I passed by. Therefore only indoor seating.
Read moreIt looks fancy but still approachable. I liked the decorating. It looked clean and modern. Staff was very friendly. Menu is available in English as well. They have a daily menu (soup plus main for about 3000 forint) or à la carte.
Lovely piano music faintly in the background. Just very relaxing.
Food was served fast. I got the menu. Tlday it was a very delicious gazpacho soup and then something with zucchini and some fritters. Everything tasted amazing, fresh and healthy. I loved it a lot! Food was decorated nicely as well!

Unique mostly-vegan restaurant in Pecs - Edit
Finding a vegan place in Hungary is still not very easy, and outside Budapest is rather hard. I come to Pecs regularly as my wife's family lives here, and we always had to choose the typical few "accidentally vegan" options at the local restaurants (falafels, Indian, Chinese, pizza with nothing) but thanks to this place we could have a real restaurant experience.

The menu includes a few burgers and a few other main, there's little choice, but surely more than an average number of vegan option in any other restaurant nearby. As far as I understood there are dishes that can be either vegetarian or vegan upon request.
Pros: Nice options, Good quality, Cozy and well designed environment
Cons: Limited options, More expensive than usual Hungarian, Not full menu during the week

Very amazing service by the owner. She even showed us some ingredients we didn't know and gave a lot of information about the tea specialities and its' origins. The daily food I've tried when I was there the first time was very delicious, and what a big portion! The price totally was worth it. It is also wonderful that they offer gluten-free meals as well! The atmosphere is very nice, and it's very cool that we can see how they are making the foods because of the glass walls!😊
