Good (but still somewhat limited) vegan options - Edit
We called one night to inquire about vegan options and were told by staff answering the phone that there weren't any! But based on HappyCow reviews (and not tons of options in this town plus our hunger!) we checked out their menu in person the following evening and decided to give it a go. They made us a delicious veggie pizza (without cheese of course) and nice arrabiata (spicy tomato-based sauce) pasta. There were some other options on the menu that we didn't try, like bruschetta and salad. Anyway, we left satisfied!
Read moreWe spoke briefly with the owner (or a manager? not sure), who seemed to have vegan and gluten-free confused--which was why he said he'd mistakenly told us on the phone the night before that there were no vegan options. We did our best to help enlighten him on the differences between vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free.

Decent Pasta and Pizza for vegans in Huatulco - Edit
The bruschetta was not as garlicky as I prefer, but it was pretty good. I had their penne in the Arabiata sauce and we also tried the vegatarian pizza (without the cheese), their spaghetti marinara, and their mixed salad. The salad was large and delicious and we enjoyed our pasta dishes okay. The pizza needed a little more salt, but it was good. Overall, an enjoyable dining experience.
