Black beans are vegan? - Edit
They told me the black beans are vegan! I had the veggie lunch plate. They did make it with cheese the first time but the waiter noticed before he even set the plate down, and they remade my dish and didn’t charge me for my meal.

This was one of my favorite places prior to being veg and I'm happy to know that it still can be! The portobello mushroom taco plate is so good! I devoured every last bite!

I love mamacitas! My go-to is their portobello mushroom tacos, which automatically come with vegan rice and black beans. You don’t have to specify anything when you order this dish which is a nice change and it’s SO good!

Service was good and it's nice that they have a vegetarian menu but every dish is drenched in cheese so the one vegan option is sparse and not very nutritious/didn't taste very good. I probably won't be returning here.
