Healthy food

Great and cheap family restaurant. A lot of vegan options. Most dishes are cooked by a healthy way.

Wow!

I was so happy to have this place so close to my hotel. The food was great and cheap! What a catch! I'll be back :)

Cheap and tasty food

We had many Things e.g. the vegan wings and some Vegetables which were very delicious. Order some different stuff cause the portions are a bit small. We paid 12$ for 4 people and a lot of different stuff.

Also try the fried mushrooms!

Pros: Very cheap and simple, awesome mock meat, Nice staff

Cons: We became just Ketchup with springrolls, Vegan food is not clearly marked. Double check!

Decent, but nothing spectacular

Simple vegetarian Chinese food menu. No complaints, but going here wouldn’t be my first choice. Uses eggs

Delicious food and lovely people

We came here because it was the closest, most convenient place to our accommodation and I'm so glad we did! The food is well priced (we paid under $8 for two drinks and 4 dishes) and so tasty. I'm already planning a return visit!

Cheap & good

I had a noodle soup with all kinds of mocked meat, some of them were very tasty, some of them were a bit weird in taste and texture. I stopped here for breakfast on the way to the genocide museum which very nearby.

Pros: Quick service, Tasty , Free tea

Cons: Some meats were weird in taste

Casual and cheap

Really good value but too many fake meats in places where it's not really necessary.

Pros: Great value, Lots of options

Cons: Didn't like the fake meats, Not very clean

Tasty and good value

Large menu of Chinese/Khmer food - noodles, soups, rice, with lots of mock meat and tofu. Mains are around 2-3 dollars and are served with free tea
We're quite greedy, so found the portions a little on the small side!!
Ginger tofu was really tasty!

Pros: Lots of options, Cheap

A real cantine

Cheap prices.
Friendly staff.
Looks always open.
Portions varied but fair to large for most of items.

Very simple place where it feels good.

I went there many times and don't get tired of it.

Menu has photos & english translation.

Pros: friendly staff, quiet place, cheap

amazing mock meats!!

I had a really hard time feeling safe ordering anything on the menu here because no one spoke English. But after googling and being sure that it's all plant based meats I took the plunge. My boyfriend (a former meat eater LOVED it) I really enjoyed it but found it difficult to eat some of the dishes that looked so much like meat (but there were tons of items that weren't mock meat to choose from). Still, I would definitely recommend!! Really great find!

good and cheap

The food was good, we chose a salad that was really sharp in flavour with basil and.coriander which was not the best. Ginger tofu was good, fried mushrooms too. I liked the fried rice, simple but tasty. overall good place! and cheap :)

Kind staff and delicious food with a picture menu. Not much for ambience. Very close to S-21. Would highly recommend!!

Fantastic friendly family-run place

My favourite spot in Phnom Penh.

This is a city where food is often relatively expensive and 'samey'. But Maitreya is one of the few really good-value places with a varied menu, though I think the noodle soups are the best.

The ambience in their new premises on st. 113 is relaxing, warm and welcoming.

Check them out!

Pros: good food, cheap, varied menu

one of the options in Phnom Penh

I'm not vegetarian but I do meat less monday or vegetarian monday. I put the correct address on Google maps but not sure on Happy Cow it moves to somewhere else. basically it located on Monivong Blv before the gas station and Infront of Pyong Yang restaurant. The foods are cheap

Pros: all vegetarian
