Absolutely brilliant - Edit
We ordered two chaat items, one veggie and one dal, along with naan and roti. Food was outstanding. They use no onion and no garlic. Limited menu but I am sure everything they have on the list will be top of the charts! Accepting only cash. Slightly on the pricier side, but food quality and portions are worth the money. They could regulate the spice levels based on your liking - low, medium and high. Due to the kids, we went with low spice. Also, they served a jug of chilled water absolutely free!

Would have given 5 stars but the only vegan breads were a plain naan or roti. I had the plain naan and it was very dry/hard. Shared a veg biryani, vegan mutton curry and Kadai chicken curry and all were delicious.

Honestly the best Indian and mock meat I have experienced in Vietnam (and possibly the U.K.). Totally blown away with this meal. Came over with a sample of the spice level before cooking. Highly recommended

Some of the curries on the vegan page of the menu mentioned yoghurt, butter and cream, dairy makes me ill so I wanted to double check, this is how the conversation went:

A whole page dedicated to vegan food. Put me at ease knowing they have this stuff. The mock meat was great and it was good portion sizes. For some reason you had to go up and collect your food which was kind of random since they had to walk over and tell us it was ready. Kind of expensive compared to other places but if you want vegan specifically mentioned then it’s good

The host was so accommodating and was even able to make the Naans vegan for us. Would recommend this place to anybody who is visiting Phu Quoc. Also suggest the Vegan butter chicken which was great

We wanted to eat vegan Vietnamese food but went to 5 different vegan restaurants which were all closed, we think due to Lunar New Year. We usually like Indian food so decided to try this place. The food was out of this world with flavor! Vegan Butter chicken was to die for and vegan mutton Rogan Josh was great. Vegan naan and jazeerah rice both fantastic. “All natural ingredients” per owner, avery nice guy, very helpful. He told us vegan dishes are their specialty. He has taken special studies in soy in the US. Nice clean place with quiet, bright ambience. Service fast and friendly.

Amazing to have a fully-veg (would be better if fully vegan) Indian restaurant! I, amongst probably everyone else, ordered the vegan butter chicken with vegan garlic naan and a samosa. Was super delicious! The food is probably the most reasonable Indian meal I have had. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about veganisable food so don’t hesitate! If you’re in the mood for some Indian, Maharaja is the go to!

Read moreIt’s the first Indian restaurant that has offered alternative meat options in curries for vegans. I tried the vegan Rogan josh and honestly, it was delicious but didn’t need the fake meat and would have been just as good with veggies. However, a great option for those who want/need that. Our table tried so many dishes and they were all really good.
