Super Vegan Gyros !

Great vegan food

The LH food truck is also present at several (vegan) events and we have tasted many things: wraps, burger, waffles, ... Always great food.

On our last trip to Brussels, we also managed to go say hi, and buy a tiramisu. Great!

Amazing vegan truck

Delicious and cheap vegan food. We went there for dinner and tried the pita gyros and the Mexican wrap that were both very tasty. We also tried the waffle, the tiramisu and the muffin that we enjoyed a lot. I recommend this place 100%.

Pros: Cheap, Good quality and varied dishes , Nice desserts

Yummy food for little money :)

I got a pita gyros, very good! Followed by a Italian wrap, quite nice. Last but not least, a tiramisu. The third vegan one I try, and the first really good one! Highly recommended.

Pros: Cheap, Good, Friendly staff

Belgian Food Truck

Nice 100% vegan food trucks, with homemade fresh products, many options, and also desserts. Always happy to find the smiling owner with his truck in festivals or tattoo conventions. Thank you again for your presence and fabulous varied food in April at my 3rd Vegan Garden Party, in Ghlin (Mons), Belgium.

Pros: varied food, 100%vegan, many options

tasty

I was eating there during the vegan street festival in Brussels. This festival was a total success, so i had to wait a long queue to eat there, but was totally worth it. I had the xl durum, and it was really big, very tasty. I just found it a bit expensive but all in all happy

Great street food

I had the pita gyros, which was one of the cheapest options at €5,50. It was a great snack, plenty of vegetables, tasteful gyros and a good sauce. They asked whether I wanted the spicy version, which was still not very spicy in my opinion, but they have free chili sauce to spice it up to your taste. Great street food!

Pros: great street food, free chili sauce

Organic vegan food truck

What more can you ask for than a good selection of wraps and curries? Well, I asked the owner for some insight into the Supreme Master followers that are behind all these Loving Hut franchises, and I actually got some interesting answers. Surprisingly the food here is not asian focused like most loving huts, but the gyro wrap I tried was very good!

Pros: Friendly owner, Organic

Cons: Gas generator running on the street

Great lunch for me at least once a week!

Loving Hut Express is in walking distance from my office at least one day a week, and I am looking forward to that. Today I had a Gyros Wrap, regular sized, which was already filling, tasty and good value for money! Looking forward to try the Burger!

Pros: Taste

Cons: You have to find them!

Delicious wrap

I ran into the Hut on the Food Truck Brussels festival. There were only a few choices and I decided to come here based on the price and food offered.
I had a Mexican wrap which was tasty, but was strange that they replaced avocado with sweet potato. I commented and they said it is more sustainable, which I really appreciate.

Pros: fresh, quick, nice staff

Cons: mix of ingredients , price

Cheap and tasty!

I lunch eat there every Wednesday when the truck stops in Jean Rey square in Brussels. The owner is really nice and prepares food very quickly. The choice includes wraps, a burger, spaghetti with vegan cheese, Thai curry and some seasonal options. Also has nice muffins. It is very reasonable price-wise, especially for Brussels. Options with fake meat (gyros, burger) are delicious, wraps without it can sometimes be a bit blunt in taste. Otherwise, I recommend!

Pros: cheap, tasty, good service

Cons: not convenient when the weather is bad, sometimes long queues

When the weather is bad, the queue is not long :D (but we're working on that, haha) After 1:30 it's always calmer if you want to avoid waiting too long...

Nice vegan options

Nice vegan lunch options, burger was delicious, service was friendly, and they take the Belgian lunch cards (hoorah!), they take cards, and cash.

Check their location on their facebook page: VivaVega Loving hut express.
As of this review, they are located in these places on these days. They will also advertise special days on there.

Pros: vegan food, accepts cards, lunch coupons, food is good

Cons: changes locations, while food is good choice is limiting, outdoors, so not great if it's rainy.

Hi, I just wondered why you decided to take off 2 stars? You loved the food and service, so is it because you think the choice is limited and not great when it's rainy? Remember we're a foodtruck, and in comparison to the vast majority of foodtrucks, we actually have a huge choice; plenty of vegans visiting us are suddenly overwhelmed by the number of choices on our menu :) I just feel it's not really fair to review us with the same criteria as you would for a restaurant...

Oh, the burgers!

They offer a range of vegan food (including GF options); I tried a few but my favourite is definitely the burger.
The owner is very sympathetic and speaks like 10 languages. It's always a cool place where to bump into vegan friends.
Don't miss them on wednesdays on PLace Jean Rey (then go eat in the Leopold Park - former zoo... ironic, isn't it?)
Also: don't miss the muffins.

Pros: the burgers, you don't hear SM tv! :D, nice vibe

Cons: only on mondays, tuesdays, and wednesdays

Great lunch !

I was so lucky to be in Brussels on a Monday at noon because it's actually pretty hard to eat in restaurants in Brussels when you're a vegan.
We bought a gyros wrap and a Middle-eastern wrap (EUR 5.- each), those were pretty big and delicious ! I also go to taste a vegan waffle, that made my day!

People in Brussels need that truck everyday! :)

Pros: Nice choice of different wraps, burgers and other , Most of the food is organic

Cons: Only available on Mondays at noon and Tuesdays aft

Great vegan foodtruck

The ideal place to get your vegan monday lunch or afterwork supper - be it a burger (so great!), a wrap or a curry dish.
The truck is near a small park with benches, which makes it even better if the weather is good.
There might be a queue sometimes; but don't worry about it, it's worth the wait.
Offers a reduction for EVA-members.

Pros: Burgers!, Wraps!, Curries!

Cons: Some waiting required sometimes
