Double check your order

This was my first meal in Oaxaca. I ordered a salad that comes with feta. When ordering I asked them to omit the cheese and reiterated that I wanted it vegan. When the salad came out it had cheese. I sent the salad back and when it came back to the table I could tell that they simply attempted to pick the cheese out of the salad, and bits of cheese still remained. I expressed to the server that I didn’t find this acceptable and she said that it was fine. I had to request three times that the salad be remade, each time she said it was fine that the cheese was removed. It was a very frustrating experience.

Beyond that experience setting the tone, the food itself was only okay. I ordered the stuffed chili as my entree, which really only had one flavor profile, which was smoke. The appetizers and salad outshined the entrees.

Cons: Aren’t very careful about adapting dishes to vegan

Fresh fine dining with vegan options

Very delicious vegan options! The restaurant design is gorgeous and was decorated beautifully for Day of the Dead. They also have a great selection of mezcals and the bar looked awesome. I had the cauliflower dish and loved it. They just got their Michelin star too!⭐

Great dinner options

I went to this restaurant with my parents for dinner while visiting. The menu is clearly labeled with the vegan options. You just have to tell the staff (which they are very friendly) that you want it vegan. The environment and food was very good. The flavors in the cauliflower dish and soup were very good.
