Lola’s Cupcakes - Edit
A reliable source for vegan cupcakes and cakes. I appreciate that they also offer mini cupcakes. I’ve enjoyed all the flavours, you can’t go wrong with any. This location is better stocked than others.

3.5 - Rich, tasty cupcakes - Edit
I’ve been wanting to try Lola’s for ages! I was waiting for a discount as they are quite pricey, but I haven’t seen any (except online) so I just decided to take the plunge and try them at full price. My first impression was a bit of disappointment at the selection of vegan offerings – they had loads of non-vegan options but only a handful of vegan ones (maybe I’ve been spoilt by Doughnut Time?!) We went for the Vegan Caramel Biscuit and Vegan Passion Fruit. They were both very rich and flavoursome and I enjoyed them both, although the Caramel Biscuit one edged it for me. Although I enjoyed them, I did feel they were missing a certain spark to give them a 4 (I only give 5 to fully vegan places). I would personally pick Doughnut Time over Lola’s given the choice between these 2 gourmet vegan treats, but I’d definitely say Lola’s are worth a try!
