I had the miso braised aubergine with crispy seaweed that excelled in taste and texture contrasts, particularly with the addition of their flavoursome chilli powder. Great place to sit and people watch as well

Favourite Restaurant - Edit
Hands down the most inclusive restaurant in Cairns. The yellow Thai curry with braised tofu is my go to, flavourful and bright. The option of having most things made vegan is a bonus in my eyes, and the set menu having a vegan option is so good to see! Anytime my husband and I get a date night we go to Little Sister and always leave satisfied and raving!

Bao bun is delicious! Incredibly creative dishes! They know what they’re doing. Finally some vegan dishes without the ever present broccoli(ni)/cauliflower in Asian dishes. LOTS of cocktails. Very attentive staff. Nice ambiance. Perfect lounge music. Interesting napkins.

The vegan betel leaf entree at $5, yes $5 was outstanding. I then had a mushroom pad something at $24 which was delicious. Only place in Cairns I found vegan options that were enticing.

We had a 5:15PM reservation and the restaurant was not busy. The service there is great. The staff are friendly and happy to help. They have a good clean highchair for little kids. I liked the Padsee Ew and the PawPaw Betel Leaf but I wasn’t a fan of the BBQ miso eggplant. The Spicy Watermelon mocktail was also really good. Unfortunately they have live crayfish in a tank on one side of the restaurant which is quite confronting.

Our new fave option in Cairns. Loved the outdoor setting being amongst the hustle and bustle! Food was amazing and a good variety of vegan foods to choose from. We had the Thai yellow green curry with tofu and the pad see ew! Both delish! Staff were really friendly, lots of yummy cocktails to choose from also.

Really loved this place, loved the vegan banquet, great Asian flavours and quality ingredients. Friendly staff too. Only negative is they have a small tank with sad looking live lobster and live cable tied mud crab. If you’re sensitive to that stuff it’s not for you

'Feed Me Vegan' is a plant based tasting menu in Regular and Deluxe sizes - I found it a lot of fun for a special occasion recently. Booking and ordering were very straightforward, and the staff and atmosphere made the night. Questions about ingredients were sorted out promptly. Very enjoyable!

Really enjoyed our meal here while having a nice view of the Esplanade. We ordered 2 small plates and a dessert, which we shared. Roasted miso eggplant, tossed wide rice noodles, with added tofu, and a coconut & lime panacotta with dragonfruit sorbet. They were all on the small side, but just enough to fill us. I thoroughly recommend Little Sister if you are wanting to splash out. We look forward to going back to try other options.

Beautiful fine dining restaurant on the Cairns Esplanade. I was pleasantly surprised to see all the vegan meals and sides on the menu. The food and wine tasted amazing and it was lovely to dine outdoors in the warm weather. A little on the expensive side but worth it. Highly recommend.
