Decent breakfast burrito - Edit

Lito’s Burritos is a pop-up restaurant located inside the El Tejaban Mexican Grill restaurant. You need to look for and go inside El Tejaban Mexican Grill to get to Lito’s Burritos, which shares the same space. There are no exterior restaurant signs for Lito’s Burritos.

ABOUT THE MENUS
You are presented with 2 menus: one is for El Tejaban Mexican Grill which does not have any labeled vegan items. The other is for Lito’s Burritos Cocina Chicana which has 4 labeled vegan menu items (see list below). You might be able to veganize items on the El Tejaban Mexican Grill menu, but would need to ask, if interested. El Tejaban Mexican Grill has a general Mexican menu whereas Lito’s Burritos has menu items typical to the Mexican state of Oaxaca.

VEGAN CHORIZO SUPREME BURRITO REVIEW
Overall, this is a decent breakfast burrito that tasted good with the accompanying salsa. There are 5 salsa choices. I chose Salsa Diablo which was hot but not overwhelmingly so. The vegan chorizo was nicely cooked/crisp. It left me full but not overstuffed. Flavor-wise it was ok but not necessarily worth going out of your way to try like I did (I drove 30-minutes one-way).

PRICE VS. VALUE
I feel that the $14 price of the Chorizo Supreme Burrito is appropriate, but only for the non-vegan version. To make this menu item vegan, several ingredients were removed and not replaced with anything else, namely the eggs and cheese. If there was a vegan egg and cheese substitute, then the $14 price would fit, but that is not the case.
