I just had an amazing meal, a Bahn mi sandwich from an incredible baguette, fried spring rolls and another dish I never had before of noodles in a slightly sour soup with yummy fried onions and tempeh - all very delicious and filling. This was easily enough food for 2 people, and the check came to $5.
Read moreI highly recommend this place. I saw other reviews mentioning they might use some dairy items with their drinks, so avoided ordering any. The food seems to be all vegan and so says the sign outside.

Nice to have a properly vegan option over by the touristy train street, and a reasonably priced one at that! Had the rice noodle pillows with the bok choy, carrots, garlic, and mushrooms. New dish for me, not crazy about the crispy rice pillows and wish there were a bit more shiitake mushrooms in there, but the flavor was good and the portion of bok choy was nice and generous. Definitely a spot I’d try again if I’m in the area!

Best Bun Bo Nam Bo since vegan but cow milk in drinks - Edit
Bun Bo Nam Bo was the best I had since vegan, but we also ordered salted coffee, double checked with staff if the milk used is vegan and they agreed. Then we grew a bit suspicious because of the reviews we read here and our experience in other vegan places and asked to see the packdage of the milk they used. It was called non dairy vegetable creamer, but it had casein and some milk derivates in it. We told the stuff and they were genuinely surprised and seemed they had no idea these things are milk derivates and said they were sorry. They seemed really surprised and shocked so they just nodded when we said they should switch it for something vegan, but nothing more. I hope it would change, everything else there was amazing ❤️

I walked here from Old Quarter. It is located near the very touristy Train Street. It is a small all-vegan place with small tables. The food was good. There is a toilet in the building adjacent to this restaurant.

Interesting place. I stopped for lunch and was satisfied. The place is small, with a few tables available plus extra tables upstairs. The food, at a good price, is typical Vietnamese. I had a good time, perfect place for a quick lunch or dinner if you are in the area!

Home cooked style Vietnamese food - Edit
Generous servings, packed with lots of veggies and mushrooms. We love their use of ingredients; it's our kind of comfort food. However, we find their noodles a bit too mushy. Binh Scorched Rice with Vegan Curry is a worth trying. We love it! Glass Noodles with Vegan eels is addictive. Fresh vegetables roll is a must-have for us!

I visited this place with friends for lunch. We had the Pad Thai with Kombucha Combo and the Healthy Combo. It was so delicious and absolutely worth it to come here. The staff is very kind and we enjoyed our time here. Absolutely recommend!

I ate here twice, I mainly returned for the kombucha. The meals are hearty , this is not fine dining. The second meal I had was very stodgy ( beef with pepper sauce and a salad smothered in a sweet passion fruit yoghurt.). It was quite weird but I was very hungry so stodgy suited my circumstances, not sure I would order that again though. Their homemade kombucha, however, is worth going for. I took a bottle as take away after both my meals. The passion fruit version had too many seeds for my taste but all the other flavours were great. The kombucha comes in 500ml bottles so is very good value too.
