Tea room opened Dec 2014 in Montpellier's old city offering light meals and fresh baked cakes that are gluten free with dairy free and egg free options. Fully vegetarian since early 2018. Reported full vegan December 2023. Open Mon-Fri 12:00-18:30, Sat 11:30-18:30, Sun 14:00-18:30.

Beau choix pour le goûter ! - Edit
L'endroit est agréable, l'accueil chaleureux. Il y a du choix dans les gâteaux, avec des options qui changent de l'ordinaire. J'ai goûté le gâteau façon banoffee et le cake myrtille-chocolat blanc, un régal ! Les options pour le déjeuner sont limitées et très simples - c'était bon, mais rien de bien original ni de particulièrement savoureux et plutôt cher pour un plat si simple servi en petite quantité (je ne suis pas une grosse mangeuse mais après avoir terminé mon plat de pâtes à la sauce tomate et aux champignons, j'avais encore faim !). Dommage également que les plats n'incluent pas d'aliments riches en protéines végétales pour un repas plus complet et rassasiant (ce jour-là il y avait donc ce plat de pâtes et une salade de riz aux légumes). J'y retournerais toutefois avec plaisir pour le goûter !

This tea room offers savory dishes at lunchtime, and sweet dishes the rest of the day.

And it's a success: the cakes are vegan and gluten-free, and as delicious and fine as ever.
The house drinks I tried were rhubarb lemonade and Monin watermelon syrup.
There are also coffees, teas, house iced drinks, lattés frappés and bottled cold drinks, and even gluten-free craft beer
Three plant milks are available: oat, almond and soy.
Brunch is even available on Sundays!
The place is of course a reference to the demoiselles de Rochefort, from which some posters can be seen.
More than 20 places inside and 10 outside are available, but it's best to reserve by phone for groups.

C'est un peu cher pour mon porte-monnaie, mais ça vaut toujours le coup.
J'y retourne encore, et aujourd'hui j'ai testé le Bourguignon : ça fait plaisir d'en retrouver le goût, ça faisait bien longtemps !
Comme d'habitude ça m'a fait bien plaisir, c'était vraiment bon.
J'ai aussi repris un Pumpkin Latte, qui est pour l'instant ma boisson "automnale" préférée.

It is a big place, we had a room for ourselves, which is very convenient with a very active kid. We had a warm welcome. The food was surprising because it was very inventive. Very fresh. The desserts and drinks were nice, especially the milkshake, which was delicious.

Nous avons pris le plat de falafels mais l’assiette nous a parue très (trop) légère : seulement des crudités pour accompagner 3 falafels.

Une adresse à retenir - Edit
Tout est végane et sans gluten. La cuisine est à la fois simple et inventive, très savoureuse. L'endroit est lumineux, cosy et le personnel très accueillant. Bonus : les mamans peuvent y allaiter leur enfant sans aucune gêne. Je reviendrai !

This is a lovely place which seems to be popular for cakes/desserts. There is a small lunch menu of 3 options which changes daily. We had the set brunch which comprised a soup, open sandwich and yoghurt with fruit. It was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the service is excellent. Well worth a visit.

A great choice of gluten-free vegan food in this very pleasant tearoom. We tried the Saturday brunch, which included a choice of burger (with Beyond Meat steak), buckwheat pancakes with scrambled tofu, avocado toast for savoury, and brioche perdue with vegan chantilly or granola bowl for sweet. We tried everything except the granola bowl. The brioche was excellent, as was the avocado toast. The burger was good but could have been tastier with more sauce or cheese, and the pancakes were a little too thick. However, the drinks and pastries were superb. A fantastic address in Montpellier!
