Good, vegan choice way too limited. - Edit
I never got a meal there, choices for vegans are too limited but I tried some of the vegan pies, I must tell they were excellent.
Read moreThe outside of the restaurant/café is misleading, one can read "vegan", "gluten free" but in fact, it's a vegetarian place that serves food with gluten, vegan and gluten free are not the norm there.

Oh okay, yes they're not fully vegan, they use eggs for sure in some plates and cakes. But I thought everything was gluten and lactose free, I was reacting to your comment saying it wasn't the case.

We had a really great fresh lunch, and tried three different desserts. We love finding places that offer fully vegan desserts, so when we do, we make the most of it! Also worth mentioning that our dog was allowed inside (not always the case everywhere).

Amazing pastries AND food - Edit
I came here everyday during my 8 day stay in montpellier and got one or two pastries or cakes each day. They are genuinely the best patisseries I've ever had,including pré vegan days. My only regret is not trying their savoury food earlier than my last day because it might even have been better than the patisseries!!! Love this place and can't wait to go back.

There are very few vegan places in MTP, so finding this one for a relaxed afternoon coffee was a our luck. Sitting in a calm side street, we enjoyed a few of their vegan pastries. Especially the hazlenut one was very good and none of them was too sweet, so just as we like them. Also the staff was very friendly and (given Covid-19) responsible enough to wear masks.

The place is very charming with a nice atmosphere, the food is delicious and the staff friendly and pays a close attention to diets and allergies. although they use eggs for some recipes, it's clearly labeled and they always offer a comparable vegan alternative.

It's a small place, comfy and cute, not so far of the famous Place de la Comedie. it's easy to ask them for vegan desserts. they do brunches too, I never been there for brunch but I know they tend to be vegetarian brunches but I doubt the staff will not veganize it if you ask. The staff is young. Even my none vegan girl friends like to go.

Petit café girly adorable et très bon. Ça fait plaisir de trouver un endroit avec d'aussi bonnes options vegan ✨ Il y a toujours des nouveautés, de saison, les brunch sont délicieux. Des choix sans gluten. Les gâteaux du jour sont juste incroyables!! Une petite boutique et des expositions au fond, vente de snack vegan (barre Nakd par exemple!!). Merci beaucoup.

The vegan desserts are nice but there are only 2 or 3 options at a time. A lot of the vegan cakes are also gluten free and I find them a bit dry but the framboisiers and cream-based pastries and pies are delicous, albeit a bit expensive.

Go for pastries and teas, not for lunch - Edit
We've come here for lunch, there were only 2 or 3 choices. It was really too simple and the price was expensive regarding to the size (4,50€ for 2 tiny pieces of bread with some olive tapenade and one slice of cucumber and one of tomato) and a rice salad that barely tastes something. However, the cakes were mostly vegan and absolutely excellent. I'll definitely come back again for them, but not for lunch ! Teas are really good too

C'était vraiment trop simple et cher par rapport à la taille des portions (4,50€ pour 2 petits morceaux de pain avec un peu de tapenade et une rondelle de concombre et de tomate) et une salade de riz qui n'avait pas beaucoup de goût. Par contre, il y avait beaucoup de gâteaux vegan et ils étaient absolument excellent. Je reviendrai pour ces pâtisseries mais pas pour déjeuner. Les thés sont également très bons.

I went there only once but I plan to go back. The staff is very friendly and the food was very good (I found it a bit pricey compared to the amount of food, but it might have changed since then). I'm so happy such a nice place opened in my city.

Les demoiselles de Montpellier is a tea room, specialised in home made free-from food. Everything is gluten and dairy free, and there is also vegan cakes. Not everything is vegan, there are eggs in some of their products, but it's clearly notified. The vegan cheesecake is really amazing! You can also have lunch, there is always a vegan dish on the menu. It's such a lovely place in Montpellier!
