A wonderful experience - Edit
We had miso soup as starters and the sushi boat. Both were amazing and chef was very kind. The boat was MASSIVE and included tempura as well!! Make sure to come here super hungry, as the boat had so much sushi for the price point (only 44e).

A truly inclusive sushi (Vegan) - Edit
This restaurant is becaming a regular go to spot when we have some sushi cravings.
Read moreIt's not just rice and veggies, it's all sorts of Japanese flavors (sush'ich) that we have became so familiar in the traditional kitchen (so the name inclusive).
The choice of flavors, culinary technics, and culinary composition is a delight to the eye and to the palate.
Pros: Choice of Japanese flavors made from vegan product, Friendly staff
Cons: Low choice of beverages , A bit small in space

Vegan sushi with Portuguese flair! - Edit
This is the first all vegan sushi restaurant we have ever found! We were so excited that we ordered the boat to try a little of everything. Favorites were veggie & avocado rolls with seeds sprinkled on top and the roll with orange on top. Nice assortment and good size portions. The seaweed salad was also nice. And we definitely recommend the gyoza which tasted very fresh and homemade (not frozen like many places).

Such friendly service. Cute location. Unbelievable food. We got the taster menu and everything blew my mind. I would only order this if you’re really hungry though. Incredible experience from start to finish.

Good - Edit
Good, not great. Service was extremely slow which made sense because of the amount of sushi they were making with a small staff in a small place, but our servers almost never checked in and it was hard to get refills or things like that. We all did the tasting menu, if you are gluten free you might not get the full value of the tasting menu. Overall it was good, not the most amazing sushi but pretty good pricing and fun rolls.

Unique vegan sushi rolls - Edit
We ordered 4 different rolls: Orange Maki, Futomaki, Lombardo Roll, and Kyuri Maki and an order of gyosas from Legumi Sushi and had them delivered. The delivery arrived faster than they originally quoted which was great because we were hungry!
Read moreWe really loved the gyosas. We did not care for the Kyuri Maki. It tasted like it was wrapped in pickled ginger. The other rolls were pretty good. My partner really liked the Orange Maki and I preferred the Lombardo Roll. The rolls came with wasabi, pickled ginger, and two small cups of soy sauce.
We would definitely get the gyosas but would try other rolls and appetizers next time.

Yeah yeah yeah, the old ones are the best.
Read moreWhat a great experience. Lovely people working hard to produce some top scran.
I rarely do sushi due to so many disappointing meals where most options taste the same. Not the care here and I managed to get some healthy food into my daughter.
Starters were edamame, gyoza and shiitake. The j k after was the winner and was cooked in soy and maple gibing sweet and salty flavours.
We share three different sushi and Wowsers. Shrimp, hot rolls & a maki all tasted great.
Tempted to go back before I go home.

Great sushi and not expensive! - Edit
After planning to do so for a long time I finally got the chance to go to Legumi sushi vegan and I wasn't disappointed. The sushi was delicious and the portions bigger than expected.
Read moreLegumi is located in a typical Madragoa street, quieter than the surrounding Santos area. The restaurant is small and typically gets crowded quickly, so keep that in mind if planning to dine in instead of ordering to take away.
The food was delicious, we ordered some miso soups and a sushi mix and we were not feeling hungry afterwards, as the portions are quite substantial. Of note, the sushi mix had more pieces than what was advertised in the menu!
All in all, Legumi is a great place to visit if you are in Lisbon and fancy some sushi. The food is good, the price is not particularly expensive and the staff is friendly.
Pros: Usually you get more food than you were expecting, Delicious sushi, Good value
Cons: The restaurant is quite small

The Sushi is just... okay - Edit
I was really hoping to love Legumi Sushi after seeing the pics online and the options they offered. Although I didn't fall in love, I'm still glad they had some creative vegan offerings for the plant-based soul.
Read moreEach roll is around €5-6 which is quite inexpensive for western terms. I decided to go with two kinds of rolls during my visit, one of which was wrapped in rice paper. I was excited to have something that would resemble a spring roll, but in the end, it felt tacked on and didn't mesh well with the rest of the roll. Still, my rolls were perfectly serviceable albeit not memorable in the end.
Orders are all taken online even if you show up to the shop in person. Make sure you have a good internet connection as I was barely able to pay for my order with my weak signal.
I think my experience with having vegan sushi in California has warped my expectations a bit. Overall, I'd give this spot a pass on a future visit.
Pros: Vegan sushi is always a plus
Cons: Payments must be taken online

Sushi!!!!!!!!! :3 - Edit
Sushi again at last!!!! :3
Read moreFirst vegan sushi place I've found. Before I went vegan, I loved eating sushi. Eating here has given me that option again without any deductions. Super!
We took the set of 40 pieces. Very good mix. I ate every piece with joy (Except the one that tasted like jam :D).
For me, the take away box could also be made of plain cardboard instead of this black glossy box. I would find that more ecological
Now if it was organic it would be perfect. Wholemeal rice would be great too (but we don't want to be too Heretical xD.).
Thanks for the food.
