Lovely stuff

This workers Co-operative make some of the nicest, most affordable and ethical bread and baked goods in the region. They supply all sorts of places in town but buying direct is always worth it too. They’ve supported the Leeds community for years and continue in the current cost of living crisis. Well worth your custom.

Bread and Roses

Ethical bread and a small range of vegan baked goods. Definitely the best loaf in town.

Great bread and ethos

I've been lucky enough to have tried their sourdough at a worker coop weekedn and it was damn fine, Even at the end of the event (three days) i took some home and it was still damn fine.

Pros: good people, good ethos, good bread

Doughy Deliciousness

Leeds Bread Co-op are always really clear about which of their products are vegan, with full ingredients listed online. The breads are some of the best I've tasted: pure doughy deliciousness. The seeded sourdough is a favourite, alongside their changing seasonal specials. And as a bonus, sweet vegan treats by That Old Chestnut can be picked up at the same time along with the bread. Perfect!

Pros: Clear about which products are vegan, Delicious bread

Cons: Not fully vegan, Limited opening hours
