Veg cafe literally in front of the gare St-Charles - Edit
Feel pretty dumb for not having ever noticed this place before - it's literally in front of the steps to the gare St-Charles. A pleasant and relaxed cafe and restaurant, quite 'granola' but that's not a criticism. They have a small menu with limited vegan options but, the day I went, the main dish was vegan - hummus (not very good); quinoa with pumpkin seeds; chickpeas with collards; carrots and cabbage; a ?tahini sauce?; mâche; some bread. Not gourmand but simple and healthy. Can't complain - filled me up and it all cost only 9 EUR. Nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Very self-service - they bring you your food but you gather your utensils, glasses, water etc. Glad to have found this place.

Eco-veggie place, but limited choices for vegans - Edit
The Ecomotive Café is an associative Coffee that promotes ecological behaviors. It consequently offers fresh vegetarian food and drinks. The place is well located near the train station, the atmosphere is nice and relaxed and the staff is friendly. However, there are sometimes very few vegan options. Only the starter was vegan when I had lunch here: hummus and fried vegetables with their homemade bread (excellent), that were good but not sufficient for a complete meal. And there was no other options. Because they promote a sustainable attitude toward the environment, it is a pity that vegan options was so hard to find. Prices are fair, and even cheaper if you are a member of the coffee.

Next to train station - Edit
This is a down to earth place next to the train station which offers relatively healthy fare. Nothing too fancy. On the other hand, compared to the awful eateries that usually are found near huge train terminals , this one is pretty good.
