Tolerable? - Edit
2020 review: I have no complaints, I have no regrets. Crunchy, rich, salty and everything nice. Portion sizes are just right. Ambient is cozy and service is great. The price is fair if you take everything into considerarion.

2025 update: Been there multiple times. First time I was satisfied with my dish but haven't had a good experience ever since. It's supposed to be an upscale restaurant but the quality has been constantly been proven subpar. Order the risotto. Dismiss the rest.
The restaurant is quite sophisticathed though. It could be a nice place to take your partner for a romantic dinner. If you both order the risotto you might have a good experience maybe?

Restaurante para um público diverso mas que se esmera nas alternativas de base vegetal. O cardápio tem uma seção Vegetariana em que os 8 pratos principais são veganos. Adicionalmente têm 3 entradas e 2 sobremesas veganas. Pedimos de início as Croquetas Veganas e em seguida o Tofu Trufado (meu preferido) e Aspargos com Arroz Negro. De sobremesa a Mousse 70%. Tudo excelente! O local é extremamente charmoso e o serviço atencioso e rápido (mesmo estando o restaurante totalmente ocupado).

O restaurante tem muitas opções interessantes. O carbonara trufado estava bom, nada de extraordinário. O brownie com sorbet estava bem gostoso.

I loved that Le Chef had so many vegan options, including appetizers, entrees, and a vegan brownie for dessert. The food was absolutely delicious.

Although pricy, as expected, the vegan menu adds interesting flavors to their large menu. Although some options work more as substitutes, such as the carbonara pasta, the meatballs have their own flavor that does not mimic its meat counterpart, and the gnochi comes in a curry sauce rather than in tomato sauce for example. Definitely recommend!
