What can I say? Insanely fresh and delicious. Love how you can customize the bowls to your liking and go heavier or lighter depending on the day. My partner & I really loved the turmeric onions, Kimchi and Chili (especially the chili combined with the sauerkraut). Even the lettuce was insanely crisp and fresh- probably the crunchiest & most flavorful kale / romaine I’ve ever had. Veggie balls looked like they were going to be super crispy & crumbly like a falafel, but they were more wholesome and similar to a bread-like texture which was different than I expected, still really good tho. Can’t wait to go back and try more! Already dreaming of the day.

Novel concept: bowls of fresh ingredients but with hot toppings (eg chilli, curry, mushroom gravy). Fast. Hearty options too. Tasty. Decor has the theme of an apothecary.

My wife and I popped into La Botaniste on a recent trip to NYC. We enjoyed the quick-service format and the accessible wine and beer selection. The food was unfussy but delicious and satisfying, and the atmosphere was calm and cozy. Definitely worth a stop-in!

I had the Bolognese Pasta (V, GF) and it was exquisite. The pasta was very good, and didn’t taste like it would be gluten free. The sauce had chunky tomatoes, vegan meat, and flavors of garlic and herbs.
