Great fast-casual place with a cheery vibe and fresh food. The chili sin carne was surprisingly spicy (in a good way) and the botaniste salade was fresh and delightful. Add the veggie balls, they sort of taste like carrot cake and I was really into them.

Every time I am in NYC, Le Botaniste is a favorite. I like going for lunch or dinner -- it doesn't matter if you order too much because you'll still feel great because the food is so clean and healthy.

I was a bit too early and the nice guy let me already 15' before the regular opening time in. Everything was ready and I could order, you do so and pay directly at the counter and take the tray with your food to a table. Real dishes and cutlery, no plastics and beautiful seating anyway. I will definitely return. My food tasted great, the bolo was one of the best flavourful thing I ever ate😄

Beautiful Vegan Chain - Edit
La Botaniste is a local chain serving plant-based fare in the most gorgeous of settings. I met a friend here for dinner and we had a great time.
Read moreThe aesthetics of this shop really lets you relax compared to the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Upon entering, you either order and grab your food, or find a table to settle down first.
My dinner was the Tibetan Curry which was pretty good but was made much better when you added some baked tofu into the mix. I felt the depth of flavor could've been deeper but was still happy with having a great hearty bowl in the heart of Manhattan be so readily available.
They didn't have their full dessert options available so I'll have to try that the next time I'm back for another round.

I just stopped in for a snack, but all of the options looked amazing. Everything looked so fresh. The desserts had a lot of healthy ingredients but actually tasted way better than expected. The sushi also had a super great sauce to dip it in.

Went in for a light snack, and it was so good! Vegan sushi roll followed with the omega 3 brownie with cashew cream. Delicious! I will be returning for the bowls, the aroma of the food was outstanding. Also, love the vibe with staff wearing lab coats.

i was so upset that when we came here we only wanted drinks and were not hungry! this was such an adorable place. i’ve never seen a fancy vegan chipotle-like place where you build your own bowl. it was crazy. the vibes are sooo nice as well.

From the ambience, to the food, to the warmth of the staff, this place was gorgeous. I can understand why the mission statement is “food as medicine,” I honestly felt like the Moroccan stew had healing properties it was so delicious. A fantastic use of spices like saffron and tumeric, a commendable wine selection - highly recommend!

This was an incredible find in NYC. I loved the whole entire concept. Let food be thy medicine! Everything at Le Botaniste is vegan and organic. They have bowls, salads, sushi, desserts, and a great wine bar. You can go down the line and create your own bowl. We got the Pasta Bolo, which was incredible! The food is also colorful and vibrant being in its natural state. Everyone was also super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful.

this is one of my favourite vegan spots. i often bring my non - vegan best friend here and she also loves it. i order the coconut ceviche as my side and for my main i love to have either the moroccan stew over rice [ with peas and pea shoots ] or the coconut curry over rice [ again , with peas and pea shoots lol ]. ive only tried those as well as the chocolate chip pecan cookie and i love tht as well. my bestie says she cannot tell the difference between this vegan cookie and any non - vegan cookie -- and she even took home the half of it tht i didnt finish. ive eaten here countless times but one time in particular rly stands out to me. my best friend and i were being chased and harassed by a group of men in a car while we were on the sidewalk. we were already on our way to le botaniste, but we had to run into the restaurant terrified for our safety. the staff were, as always, lovely and were looking out for us in this situation. their kindness prevented our night out from being ruined and we had a rly great experience thanks to them. me and my bestie feel safe in this restaurant and we love coming here. i suppose its just a plus that the food is also absolutely delicious loll☺️

Had the Omega 3 Brownie with the cashew cream, and a Quinoa Peanut Butter cookie. Both were absolutely gorgeous, but I'm not a big fan of the cashew cream. Might be worth trying to make it with Oatmilk instead.

I'd already had a main meal with family at a Chinese restaurant nearby. Then I accidentally came across this Le Botaniste, and I regretted having the tofu bowl with plain rice LOL, when I could have basically walked a couple of streets over and gone here instead. At least I know what to look for now, because if I'm ever in the big apple again, I'll be sure to dine here ; )
