My favorite place in Paris - Edit
Luckily for me this location of the chain was pretty close to where I stayed when in Paris so I went here most mornings for a pastry and coffee, and sometimes also buying sandwiches for later. Everything I ate here was so good, the almond croissant was my favorite but the cookies (I tried the pistachio and monkeys cookie) were a really close second.

Read moreI love this place. Whenever I come to Paris I have to come here whether it's for coffee or a bag of croissants to share with coworkers or a breakfast sandwich. The food is always perfect and vegan.
They have a breakfast sandwich with soft bread, a yellow vegan egg replacement, and vegan bacon. It's definitely worth getting if you are hungry for breakfast! I think it is very filling. I usually don't like bacon either, but it tastes really good and has a great texture.
Sometimes they have a sandwich that has pickles and vegan deli meat and it is also worth getting when it's available. That was the first sandwich I ever tried here and it got me hooked on their food.
The pastries are so amazing too. They have apple, pear, and apricot tarts that are not overly sweet, but they have that perfect flaky crust that makes them delicate and delicious.
I always get a back of croissants to share with my coworkers. They are also the perfect mix of fluffy and flaky. Everyone always seems to love them and is happy to get them from me.
I highly recommend coming here!

Read some reviews online on TripAdvisor where people weren’t so happy with their visit and the food but looking on HappyCow the reviews were much better and I decided to just go. And I am happy I did. It’s a really cute nice little cafe and all the food looks delicious and the croissant and pain au chocolate I had were the best I’ve ever had in my life. The French know how to make them best! And I usually don’t like pain au chocolate in my home country but this one and the croissant were so fresh from the oven, still warm, and so soft and buttery inside. Definitely worth a visit! And if I have time I might come back

The food: after hearing so many great things about this company, I finally got a chance to visit. It didn't disappoint! There were 3 of us, and we each happened to order a slice of quiche (we each went for a different flavour), a dessert, and a drink. Everything was amazingly delicious!
Read moreThe staff: everyone was super friendly. They realised that I don't speak French fluently, do automatically switched to English. However, they understood and appreciated my request to continue in French for the practice, only using odd words in English to clarify, double check, or help with translation. There wasn't a double table available, so the 3 of us sat around a single designed for 2 people. When the staff saw this, they were amazing and moved furniture around to create a double table for us!
The café: it's very cute and welcoming in design. We sat for ages, thinking something was odd (in a good way). After about 5 mins, it dawned on us that there was no music! A lot of places we've been to recently had loud music, leading to increased volume, as people have to shout over it and other people to be heard. Lots of people were talking but at a lovely and calm level.

I am in love with their croissants, pains au chocolat, breads, quiche and coffee. Vegan kebab was also very tasty. However, I’m not really a fan of the sandwiches, sometimes it felt as if the bread was a bit old.

So much choice! Everything looked delicious! I got a chicken baguette which was so tasty, and a pistachio cookie which was so good I made sure I ate every crumb. Was €9.50 for both, which I thought was ok! Realised after I could have got a deal with a drink included for €10.50. The staff member was really nice, and patient with me taking time deciding! Will definitely go back here or to another branch.

Loved this place! Even though it is a chain a paris, I love their homely vibe inside. You can sit and have a coffee, a snack, breakfast, lunch. They do pick ups and deliveries as well as far as I know!

Finding Land & Monkeys in Paris was like finding an oasis in a desert. I was worried about finding vegan options, but there's no shortage of things to choose from at Land & Monkeys. They have savory and sweet breakfast/brunch/lunch options. The staff were super kind, and one staff member even patiently allowed me to order in French to practice my language skills. Couldn't recommend it more!
