I really wanted to like it - Edit
Staff is very nice and friendly. However it was just not my taste. Very healthy and a bit expensive for what it was. I had a piece op quiche (their signature dish) and a icetea (without sugar) and had to pay €22,- a bit pricey.

Favorite restaurant in a 4 day trip - Edit
What looked like a small and unspectacular little business turned out to be the most amazing restaurant we have been in Paris. The owner was just wonderful and tried his best to give us hints and recommendations and to comfort us with everything. Just wonderful.
Read moreAt first I want to talk about the drinks: we had a lassi, which turned out to be the best vegan lassi we had, and i tried the Punjab Chai, which I had all the evening because I never had such a delicious Chai before!
We started with amazing pakoras and the avocado mango taste, both already really amazing. As mains dishes, we chose the Tikka Massala and Haggis - yes, the scottish Sheppards pie.
The Tikka Massala was the best vegan curry dish we ever had. En contraire to the Indian restaurants in Germany, the different tastes were complementing each other to an unbelievable composition of taste... wow! And the chicken was the definition of butter chicken, better than any butter chicken I had before turning vegan!
Regarding the pie, it was the first Haggis in my life, so I do not have any comparison. But it was a delicious surprise as well, and it was as well such a delicious mixture of tastes despite being a rather easy dish...
As this was already amazing, we of course tried the desserts... :)
We tried Sarina's special and the Éclat d'orient au chocolat. Both again delicious and a good combination of the different other desserts.
As we loved each and every part of the evening, we took one of each cookies to go, and yes, they were delicious as well with everything very soft center.
Big recommendations!
Pros: Marvelous main dishes, Very nice owners, Punjab Chai

Should be listed as one of the best in Paris - Edit
This is close to my hotel, so I immediately came over. The people who run the restaurant are lovely, and the service was quick. I like how they’ve set up their menu - it’s a QR code, and you can choose what language. The Tikka Masala and Chocolate Cheesecake were my options for today, and they did not disappoint. I think the cheesecake and I had a magical moment (it comes with raspberry sauce, my favourite). 20/10 recommend this place!

Great vegan find in Paris - Edit
This was the closest vegan restaurant to my hotel. It is very close to cimetière du Montparnasse, if you happen to be visiting there. Sat outside for a delicious lunch. Food was delicious — arancini to start, the “fameuse tourte”, and the chocolate cheesecake for dessert. A great blend of French & Northern Indian flavors.

More cons than pros - Edit
I was required to re-confirm my booking in advance, yet when I showed up staff just referred me to a random table, without asking for my name or anything. To access the menu one was supposed to scan a QR code, but thankfully they gave me the physical one. The English version on their website (https://www.maisonsukoon.com/_files/ugd/353e85_318748d19f1c439886b5b1f91357ffb3.pdf) is down, however I was able to check the Spanish one and could see that prices aren't quite up to date. I made a quick decision and pointed out to staff that I was in a bit of a hurry. They were kind enough to step on my order, but it was apparent the food was being microwaved. Is this compatible with running a self-proclaimed organic restaurant? Not too sure. In fairness, the dish tasted fine, though I never saw the meatballs it was supposed to feature. I came to the conclusion this wasn't the place for me and proceeded to hastily leave the premises, which allowed me time to buy some organic desserts at a supermarket that, I should think, are healthier than Maison Sukoon's.

I’d been wanting to try this place for a while, and it definitely didn’t disappoint!

I had the hachi parmentier that was amazing. I think it was the first time i had one since I've been vegan.
If you love pistachio, don’t miss the pistachio latte—easily the best I’ve ever had. They also serve a creamy pistachio cake that I absolutely loved.
Pros: Pistachio latte !!

Universally tasty - Edit
I feel like this is a kind of homemade food that everyone would find tasty (I would attribute that to well balanced seasoning). The staff were also very very nice. I just wish the prices were a bit smaller or portions a bit bigger (and I'm a small girl soo).

Delicious and rather moderate portions for normal prices - Edit
The dishes tastes good to delicious, the portions are really moderate at quite an average price, making the price - quality average. The comfort of the tables and chairs are so so. Very friendly staff at the counter, English and a French speaking (and who knows what more). Chocolate mouse cake didn’t taste too fresh (the crust).
