Many Vegan / Vegetarian options you want to try all

The foods are simple and tasty. The owners are super friendly and speak good English as well. I would love to try more when I come back next time!

Treasure!

Satisfying and pleasant atmosphere.

Edit: I have visited this restaurant more than 20 times so want to update the review. The staff are very kind especially when you become a regular. They will greet you by name. My all-time favorite menu item is the crunch wrap. So far as I know, it's the only place in Korea you can get a vegan crunch wrap. It's tasty and addictive. If I was a bread person, the ban mi looks good. Their chili is nice-- very beanful but better as a side. I do really like that there is a vegan section in the menu. I would love to see a few more options there, but I still do enjoy this place a lot, every time. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with high ceilings, and a New Orleans atmosphere-- one of the owners is from there and takes great pride in making the restaurant a home away from home. They know what nutritional yeast is, and use it in their vegan food, which is special in Korea.
Edit:
They sell hummus now!

Not the worst.

Vegan food isn't ubiquitous in Korea, and less so in Bundang. So you're happy with what you can find. I went here a few times because I lived close to it, but the food was average and a bit overpriced. I found the staff to be a little standoffish but they do rent out rooms upstairs for board games.

Southern food assortment

This is a veggie-friendly restaurant offering a vegan menu. It includes a diversity of foods, ranging from Cajun, TexMex to Vietnamese dishes.

I had the vegan Po Boy sandwich which was a crunchy baquette filled with soft and warm tofu, seasoned with a sweet and spicy barbecue sauce. Not bad, but the portion was too small compared to the price.

I can see why people feel at home here, while indulging in comfort foods.
The friendly staff speaks perfect English. Overall, Southern US food and style.

The restaurant is located amidst apartment complexes and office buildings. It's a spacious restaurant with many windows, but the inside is kinda dark regardless.

Cuisines to please all

This is a restaurant that you can bring all your non-veg and veg friends along as it caters to everyone's preference. Staff and owners were super nice and the service reminded me of back home where they come to check if the meal was satisfactory. My Korean colleagues and I ordered several items and we were pleased with our selections.

Comforting af ❤

A good amount of vegan options, i couldnt choose just one.

The crunchwrap is just so fun cuz i miss taco bell. Could be saucier, but i suppose the main sauce isnt vegan.

The bbq poboy is bombbbbbbb. I loveeeed the pickled veg and the french bread is SO CRISPY.
My fam is from Nola, so i was just happy that a place with a cajun essence exists here.

Pros: Bread ❤

Cons: Priceyish

Excellent

Awesome sandwiches!

I got the vegan bbq poboy sandwich and was impressed. Very tasty! The bun it came on really helped to compliment the sandwich. Staff was super friendly in talking vegan with me. Said they had a vegan chili as a special. Kind of hard to find. It’s attached to the mini-mall on the northern side. The entrance is outside. Sandwich didn’t come with fries automatically so I didn’t get any, my fault. Next time I would order something to go with my sandwich.

Pros: Awesome sandwiches!, Friendly staff, Clearly labeled vegan options

Cons: Kind of hard to find

The Crunchwrap rocks

This stylish restaurant has a welcoming ambience and an intriguing mixture of Cajun, Mexican, and Vietnamese food offerings. Based on a recommendation from Happy Cow, I chose the Crunchwrap. I added cheese and sour cream, and it was possibly the best Mexican food I've eaten since I switch to vegetarian. Both the taste and the texture were wonderfully satisfying. Next time I order it, I'm going to ask for a little more cumin. I was so impressed with their menu offerings that I also ordered a Vietnamese dish to take for dinner the next night. It was also outstanding.

Pros: menu has a vegan dedicated section with a variety

Cons: an hour ride from my house by public transportatio

Best, most friendly.

It is amazing how far the owners will go to make sure you are comfortable and happy in their restaurant. As soon as we told her that we were vegan, she never forgot it, always came to us with new ideas, new menu items and various creations that she made in the kitchen for us to try.

Their homemade BBQ sauce is very good, their range of Vietnamese, Mexican and Korean vegan menu is fantastic- I can't express how satisfying their Crunch Wrap was when they first released it.

The restaurant changes it's menu fairly often to add new dishes, and if there is a way that a dish could be changed to become vegan, the owner and chef will make every effort to meet your needs.

I left Korea this year, and I am very sad to have eaten at Lagniappe for the last time- if you find yourself in the Bundang area as a Vegan, Lagniappe is by far your best bet for a filling and indulgent vegan meal.

Pros: Friendly, English speaking crew., Excellent food., Great variety of vegan dishes.

Great neighbourhood restaurant

This is the only ( to my knowledge) restaurant in my area that has a vegan section on their menu. All of the options are amazing. The Bahn Mi sandwich is scrumptious. You can also call ahead (about 1 hour before you plan on going) to order the bbq po'boy (made with TVP, the other items are generally tofu-based). The staff is perfectly bilingual, which makes ordering very easy. I also love the comfortable community atmosphere.

Pros: very accomidating, Many different options, friendly staff

Cons: No vegan dessert (yet)

Wonderful chef, yummy bahn mi sandwich! :)

I never thought Lagniappe has vege dishes. :) In their official menu, you can’t find any vege dish, but please don’t let it fool you. As soon as you tell their staff you are a vegetarian or vegan, they will fetch their wonderful chef! She is awfully nice and helpful, and she will tell you their secret(?) vege dishes. Unfortunately, I haven’t tried all their vege dishes yet, but I love vege bahn mi sandwich there. :)

The 2nd part~ :)

I have been to Lagniappe again recently, and as always, the chef and staff greeted me and my girlfriend warmly. They remembered us well and knew what we were gonna order. While we were munching away our delicious food, the chef materialized all of a sudden and gave us something she improvised on that night for free, which, of course, surprised us a lot. :)

Since she improvised, it wasn’t on their official menu. She remembers that my girlfriend is a strict Buddhist vegetarian so her options are very limited. That is why she improvised a new dish for us though we got there pretty late. How nice is that! :) And the new dish was awfully tasty!

So, folks, if you go to Lagniappe, like vege food there, and intend to go back again, please remember this. The chef is just so wonderful and flexible that if you let her know you are coming in advance, then she will prepare more for you. :) So please go enjoy our Lagniappe.

Best Food in Bundang

Awesome place with a great atmosphere and delicious food. The owner is as nice of a person as I have ever met. I am a vegan and my wife is not, but two bites into the meal we both looked at eachother and said "we are coming back here as often as possible". I told the server I was a vegan and he told me to wait a second while he got the owner from the back. She came out and gave me a ton of options that she could make for me. I went with the vegan Bahn Mi and OMG it was the best thing ever. They make all of their own bread in house, and you can tell right away. Their breads are delicious. There is not enough praise that I coyld possibly give to this place. I am so happy to have found it.

Pros: Vegan options , Friendly staff , Great food

Amazingly delicious, and perfect for large groups with varying tastes!

This restaurant is just so great, for so many reasons!

For one, just a glance at their menu, and you will see a wide array of options-Mexican, Cajun, Vietnamese, and all with vegan friendly options! I am both vegan and gluten free, which can be an absolute nightmare when trying to eat out in general, but especially when with a group. Lagniappe has been a lifesaver! Not only is their food mouthwatering, but they really do have an option for everyone!

The second reason I love Lagniappe so much, is the hospitable staff. The owners are so sweet and accommodating, and you can tell they really want everyone to enjoy their meal, which is never a problem!

Lastly, although I could list reasons that this place is great FOREVER, is their location! Right in new Jeongja and close to the Bundang and Shinbundang line, this restaurant is a well placed refuge from the busyness of Seoul. Located on a pedestrian side street, you can sit on their patio and enjoy the quiet (and sun!) on nice days, or dine inside their restaurant.

Lagniappe is a must try for everyone, and I bet it will become a fast favorite!

Amazingly accommodating!

Lagniappe is warm and inviting. The staff is friendly and extremely accommodating! There is nothing specifically vegan on the menu, but the owner is happy to make a vegan option for me every time that I come to the restaurant! I have been there several times and have never had the same thing! She is super creative and always comes up with wonderfully yummy options!

The flavors of her food are very intricate and mouth watering! She is also very caring and will make any improvements on the food if you ask (extra sauce, more rice, etc.)

I would definitely recommend Lagniappe to anyone who come down to the Jeongja/Bundang area! It definitely will not disappoint! Since it is not a fully veg restaurant I could only give 4 stars, but I would definitely give 5 if I could! YUM!

Pros: Extremely Accomodating, Excellent food, Friendly Staff
