Não é ruim, mas também não é bom. Pra mim faltou tempero/sabor na francesinha vegetariana. Esperava um molho com mais gosto de cerveja, uma salsicha artesanal bem temperada e um tofu saboroso, mas tudo era muito suave beirando o sem sabor.

Nice place and friendly staff. The vegan francesinha was really good, although the sauce was a little meh, more like a spicy broth. But the "meats" inside were incredible, super flavorful! And the melted cheese on top made everything even better. It's a big and super filling dish, so I wouldn't recommend ordering the fries together unless you have a big appetite.

They have vegan cheese, so you can ask for vegan Francesinha instead of Vegetarian. On the menu is only vegetarian so you have to ask. 3 stars because the food was okay and there are not much vegetarian or vegan options on the menu. But if you want to try Francesinha it is worth a visit because there was not other restaurants in center of porto at the time of january 2020 (i think, we did not find other Restaurants with vegan Francesinha option)

I have to agree with MissRadish, somehow the old reviews do not match what I have recently experienced in Lado B. They offer vegetarian Francesinha but I was not given the choice of vegan cheese, only with or without regular cheese. The "vegan pineapple burger" which was mentioned in a previous review does not seem to exist anymore, their pineapple burger includes ham and cheese. Although I'm happy to have found a vegetarian Francesinha I was not impressed. The filling was a mix of different kinds of tofu, veggie sausages and eggplant (I think) without much or any seasoning. It was confusing and in my opinion it didn't taste good.

I don’t know if they’ve changed their menu recently as others in the past seem to have been more successful here but there were no vegan options at all but two veggie ones. I asked a waiter if anything could be vegan and was told ‘no’.
