Good food and beer - Edit
Great venue with live music 3 nights a week. Service is very speedy. The food is good - the vegan options are limited but vegetarians are well catered for (would just need a vegan cheese to make a real difference to the menu). The craft beer is excellent woth some good choices.

Amazing hummus and falafel - Edit
Three of us shared the hummus plate and the falafel plate. It was plenty of food and was so delicious. We combined it with some craft beer and had a fun evening. Next time we’ll stay for the live music.

Drinking place - Edit
We went there after we got confused with another restaurant, but stayed because it was very cool inside and nice vibe. Its more of a pub as in drinking. I ordered pizza without cheese and wasn’t disappointed. The pizza dough is really good. Took time until i got my pizza but I enjoyed it.

So good!! - Edit
The veg(an) menu items are clearly marked. I highly recommend the vegan chocho (hummus) and avocado arepa. Yum! This has been one of my favorite spots in Quito.

All chochos! - Edit
All the vegan dishes are made using the chocho hummus. It's pretty tasty, but that's all you're getting. The interior looks like it's about 50% set up for live shows rather than dining. It wasn't busy when I came in so I found a seat easily. I like the murals and the look of the cozy chairs, however they smelled pretty funky. It was almost bad enough to leave.

good hummus - Edit
This is one of the many restaurants in that street, which offers vegan options :)
Read moreThe chocho hummus is fabulous, but the plate of falafel was all in all a bit lean. There was 6 falafel, two spoons of cut tomato and two spoons of hummus. But as it is more a pub than a restaurant...
Service and atmosphere was nice but nothing special.
Pros: cheap, chocho hummus
Cons: lean, one-sided

Good spot for dinner - Edit
If you are staying in the area this is one of the only places where you can get vegan food for dinner for a reasonable price. The hummus is delicious and so is the avocado/hummus arepa. Vegetarians can also order pizzas.
