I had the stuffed eggplant with mushrooms, and it was very tasty! The staff was very nice (although not fully fluent, so speaking some Spanish would definitely be helpful). I also had the chips and guacamole which was delicious. Great vegan option!

Excellent vegan open sandwich - Edit
This place has a cute interior. Staff pay attention to vegetarian and vegan requests - all drinks have a choice of vegan milks for no extra charge (oat, soy and one other) as well as cow’s milk.
Read moreThe open sandwiches were huge and freshly made with fresh ingredients - very tasty. The sauces brought out to accompany it were also vegan.
The dessert was special - Oreo plant cake - an Oreo “soil” with orange cake underneath, with milk to pour over - what a treat!
As we left, we asked if the whole menu was vegetarian and they server explained that the ethos of their place is vegetarian and vegan, but they do serve meat. However, they would make extra vegan dishes that are not necessarily on the menu if requested.

Friendly and helpful staff. Pricey and slow, but the food was really good, and the portions were huge. The playlist was great too! Could use more vegan protein options.

Came here twice for coffee and the vegan carrot cake. The coffee and cake were pretty good, but prices are definitely a bit higher here than at establishments outside the touristy areas.

Vegan hot chocolate and latte were both incredible. Several vegan cakes. Few vegan savoury options, but a great and huge sandwich. Also cute that the cafe sells various handmade cultural things.

The vegetarian sandwich was superb. The pumpkin soup was the best I’ve ever had. The owners are Ámbar and Alvaro, a designer and architect and the space is really special and unique. An amazing experience and HIGHLY recommended!!! #Veganuary

Nice energy, good service, tasty and authentic food (2019 visit) - Edit
We visited Quito in 2019 and I still remember the brief stop we made here very clearly. We had drinks and dessert which we very enjoyable. It was a great spot to relax and soak up some good energy. Really enjoyed the music that was playing as well.

This great little place on the same street as the Secret Garden hostel was fantastic. Firstly I popped in just for a coffee, and because that was so amazing...I came back for breakfast which was incredible

A lot of options! From hot sandwiches $3.50-4.50 to whole food dishes with roasted veggies as filled zuchini or eggplant with or without cheese $6-7! Tranquil atmosphere and delicious coffee(tip: try coffee with cardamom).

this place has something really homey and comfortable, so you can definitely spend some time there. i ordered the avocado, tomato and cream cheese sandwich without the cheese and it was delicious. staff was super friendly and the overall atmosphere definitely made me want to go back

I was expecting a range of vegetarian and vegan meal options at the place based on descriptions online. Sadly I was extremely disappointed. Few meal options and mostly meat based meals. I ordered what I was told to be a vegetarian dish and it was full of mince. The other vegetarian dish I had was very average. Prices were high for the quality of the food.

Read moreWe feel your bad experience, maybe there was a mistake, we do not use meat in any of our dishes, possibly what you asked was a stuffed eggplant containing soy protein, it is very like a chopped meat but it is not.
