Nice Restaurant. But vegan is a bit complicated - Edit
At the entrance to the restaurant, I asked if there were any vegan dishes. The waitress said yes. At the table, I then asked another waitress which dishes were vegan. She then said that there were no vegan dishes. After enquiring in the kitchen, there were a few dishes that could be veganized. I wasn't sure whether both dishes were really vegan, but when I asked, they said yes. In any case, the food was very tasty and the restaurant is great.

3 vegan items on the menu, (order the locro without cheese) absolutely spectacular food and really attentive fine dining type service.

Best vegetarian food experience in Cuenca - Edit
Went to La Maria totally by accident and discovered that this place had the best veggie food Ive tried in Cuenca...and Ive tried most places... also atmosphere was very nice, super good service. Ordered also coctails without alcohol and they were excellent as well
