My fave in Tulum - Edit
I came here many times during my stay in Tulum and it became a favorite of mine. It opens early for breakfast which for me is a plus, I like the seating area and the staff is very professional.

Looks better than it is - Edit
The menu looks amazing, many dishes that are normally difficult to find vegan.
Read moreThe omelette I ordered was tasty, but it came with a salad without dressing, and then they wanted to charge me extra for the dressing…?!?!
Service is okay, a little slow
Pros: 90% of the menu is vegan, It‘s centric
Cons: Charge extra for everything, Not so special as it seems

This place really hit the spot after a long day in the sun. I had a strawberry, mango, almond milk smoothie and an Asian rice noodle and vegetable dish. It was seriously so good!

Disappointing - Edit
The restaurant seemed nice. We decided to visit it after reading the positive references. Unfortunately my husband almost broke his tooth because there was a stone in platillo mexicano. Also, chocolate volcano had no taste and was badly baked. Sopes had very bitter salsa on the top. It tasted like burnt. On the other hand, they exchanged our bad dishes for hamburgers and apple crumble was OK. Also they didn't charge us for chocolate volcano which was fair as we didn't eat it at all.

Tasty food, unassuming place, friendly service - Edit
We got the strawberry smoothie, beet juice for drinks - both were good. The roasted mushroom starter was amazing - bread was super fresh and mushrooms succulent. The pesto pasta was also fresh and not greasy at all. The Plato Mexicano was a disappointment. The beans tasted canned, the mushrooms were drab and the red sauce didn’t fit the dish at all. They were out of chocolate cake, so we got the mezcal date ball, which was ok.

Great Healthy Restaurant with Plenty of Options! - Edit
I enjoyed a smoothie at La Hoja Verde when visiting Tulum in March 2020. La Hoja Verde is a cute restaurant offering a variety of healthy options including plenty of vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options labelled on the menu (fresh juices, smoothies, tacos, curry, pizza, breakfast, buddha salad bowls and more). I ordered the Tio Bob smoothie which had cacao, banana, coconut milk, and hemp protein. It was refreshing and delicious!
Read moreThe restaurant is located directly off the main avenue through Tulum town among the hustle and bustle. There is a small patio on the front of the restaurant and indoor dining as well.
Pros: Delicious smoothies, Nice patio and atmosphere , Plenty of great healthy options

Really enjoyed having brunch here!! The food was so delicious and nice selections of juices, smoothies, etc. They don’t put sugar in the smoothies but agave syrup. Good prices, attentive staff and good atmosphere.

Super delicious cozy place - Edit
This gem is definitely worth a visit. We came without reservation at 8pm and it was packed with people. Were asked to wait for 10 min. to get a table. The menu offers a very diverse range of dishes. The staff is super friendly and professional. We had the roasted cauliflower as starter. Was amazing. Main dishes were the BBQ Burger with beetroot patty and the Risotto with quinoa and mushrooms. The burger looks amazing, the risotto looks a little disappointing BUT both tasted incredible. We had a super nice evening in this sympathetic nice restaurant.
Read moreWent a second time now and had the most delicious mushrooms starter and the tacos with 3 different flavors. My partner had the platos mexicanos and guacamole. Everything was absolutely amazing.
Pros: Delicious and almost entirely vegan., Nice location., Not too expensive.
Cons: Recommending to make a reservation., A lot of berglars approach the table.
