All female, family run, fully vegan restaurant est. 1983. All food is prepared in-house using organic raw ingredients and seasonal vegetables and fruits. Serves authentic Italian cuisine with a contemporary influence. Offerings include artisanal cheese, fried battered pleurotus mushrooms, plane tree gnocchi with zucchini and basil cream, risotto with oven-cooked eggplant, grass-pea croquettes, glaced seitan skewers, wholegrain pizzas, daily desserts, with a wide selection of organic wines and craft beers. The food was nice but not as special as the price led us to expect. Overall we were a bit disappointed. I had a pizza with homemade 'mozzarella' and blue cheese. It was a decent pizza and the blue cheese was tasty. My partner had a risotto made with brown rice, macadamia cream and courgette/courgette flowers. Again it was tasty but subtle in flavour and it wasn't creamy. We also shared a truffle cacio bruschetta. It was enjoyable but seemed quite basic - a runny, truffle-flavoured sauce on toast. All the meals felt like they were missing components and could have been improved by some garnishes to provide a bit of variety in flavour and texture.

Amazing can't even begin to describe the food in La Colubrina. Every bite was a party in my mouth. The love, dedication and quality of the cuisine was like no other. We tried the homemade spaghetti, the Calubrina pizza and the king of the meal - the azuki tempeh. I'm 100% sure thar everything you try there will not disappoint.

While the food was undeniably good, the overall experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was the incredibly slow service. Despite it being a Saturday lunchtime, there was only one staff member attending to the tables, which led to a hugely long wait. We waited 30 minutes just to order drinks, they didn’t even bring water to the table, and over an hour for our food to arrive. It also seemed like Italian customers were prioritized, as they were seated and served first, even though we had a reservation. To make matters worse, our starter and main course arrived at the same time, even though we had specifically ordered bruschetta to start. While the food itself was tasty, the long wait and poor service definitely overshadowed the meal. It wasn’t worth the hassle or the time spent waiting.

This place really felt like finer dining to me. The server was really friendly and they managed to fit us in even though we didn’t make a reservation in advance. There are so many unique dishes on the menu that I hadn’t seen anywhere else which felt like such a novelty! The restaurant itself had warm lighting and was really inviting. My partner and I just had two of the first courses because we weren’t super hungry and they were delicious. We had a leisurely sit and espresso after the meal and we weren’t hurried along, it was so nice! The cola here is also delicious! Overall a really lovely experience. While this place is definitely on the pricier side I’d say it was worth it!

A 100% vegan restaurant near Porta Venezia with a warm and classy atmosphere. They serve lunch, dinner, evening aperitivos, and an infinite-course insane brunch on the weekends (reservations are mandatory for the aperitivo and the brunch). The menu is packed with so many tempting options that it's hard to choose. Everything I ate was absolutely delicious. While it's not cheap, apparently nothing in Milano is, and here you get your money's worth. Hands down the best vegan spot in Milano. Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of dining at this spot with four friends—none of whom are vegan—and we were all blown away. The flavors were outstanding, beautifully unique, and unlike anything you’d expect from a typical Italian restaurant. This is the kind of place where you’ll want to order a variety of dishes to share, giving everyone the chance to savor a bit of everything. Two standouts for me were the risotto with almond cream and saffron, and the homemade spaghetti with lupin beans—absolute perfection.
