Decent options on the internet menu, but see comment below - Edit
While the internet menu still shows decent vegan options, check below comment, maybe that's outdated.
Read moreUPDATE: Been there again since the comment below was written, they had two marked vegan options. The miso artichoke was great, the pasta with minced "meat" was on the boring side.

Interesting, when I was there around 2 months ago they had absolutely nothing vegan and they did not seem to know what vegan is. I went there because Swing Kitchen was too crowded so I wanted to eat at Rank. I asked if they could make me something vegan (after not seeing anything labeled) and after they checked their ingredients for a few minutes and saying they can make me xyz without yzx I ordered something. They already started preparing and wanted to know which sauces I want and I asked them if the Japanese mayo is vegan (as the other were surely not) and they said yes, then another person in the kitchen was asked to confirm and I didn't believe it and asked if it really doesn't contain eggs and they were unsure again so I left as I was not confident that I would really get something vegan. So I reported it to HappyCow as "Vegan options have changed, or been removed" linked to the (then) menu not having any vegan options but nothing happened with this listing. So I finally remembered I wanted to give this a 1 star review because of this and came back and saw your review 😊 Thanks for the update!

I've checked their internet menu, there they have on marked vegan dish for lunch and two for dinner. Maybe outdated? If yes, there's tons of other restaurants around.

Good value Planted toastie (8CHF takeaway) - Edit
Probably the cheapest warm sandwich in Zurich old town. The vegan toastie isn't packed with ingredients but it's still filling, and tasty. Takeaway is open from 11:30am (closed Mondays)
