Very pretty presentation - Edit
It was nice to find this restaurant close to the northern end of Tenjinbashi-Seji shopping street. It is on a side street that is also covered and has many restaurants. We went for lunch on a Monday, so many of the other restaurants were closed. There seemed to be much fewer tourists here and more locals, which our hostess/cook confirmed. There were not a ton of options, really just the curry and vegetable tempura. The dish comes with two different kinds of curry. The darker brown is mildly spicy. In the middle of the roses are 5 different kinds of pickled vegetables. The tempura was light and delicious. I recieved a cherry tomato, squash, lotus root, shishito pepper, and mushroom. The tempura came with 3 seasoning salts. One was matcha, one wasabi and soy, and one with plum. The plum was my favorite.

Very friendly staff, who speak good english. Curry and tempura were delicious. My husband who is a meat eater enjoyed the curry and tempura just as much as us veggies. My two teenage daughters can be a bit picky with food, but enjoyed the tempura veg and rice. Cold beer on offer too which is a plus for my husband. Would recommend

Speciality shop for vegan curry! Very unique presentation of the curry. Curry is definitely savory and has a hint of spice. It's not overpowering at all and you ge to taste the variety of vegetables included. Overall a decent option!

So glad we stopped into this new spot a short walk from the subway. Super nice people. We got the curry with tempeh combo which was a perfect lunch for 2. Served quickly and the tempura was so light and cooked to perfection. Try the matcha salt on it! The 2 curries were both excellent too. Reasonable prices. We would have had more if not rushing off to fly home.

Tempura with curry = happy me - Edit
Incredible experience, a must for vegetarians and vegans (though great for everyone). The curry was perfectly flavored with a blend of delicious spices, came with rice, and we got a side of tempura, also crisp to perfection. Our server made us feel right at home as she welcomed us, cooked the delicious meal and gave a flawless guide to every element of our order. Our experience here makes me wish my hotel was in Osaka so I could come back each night!

The curry and tempura at Koisus was so flavorful. I was in need of a filling but nutritious meal and I am so glad I got one. I appreciate that the chef explained all of the parts of the dish as well. The atmosphere was also very relaxing! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful curry option, great beer and sake selection, very friendly staff. Chef came to talk to us. The matcha salt was excellent and the pickled veggies with the curry were a perfect pairing. Exceptional food at a great price.
