A vegan trip with lunch - Edit
We booked the Tigre Delta Vegan Tour which was a mix of the famous trip to the incredible Argentine delta and a visit to a recommended vegan restaurant for lunch. The 5 rivers navigation was amazing and the restaurant was inside a nice and cozy cabin with a garden, which was the perfect quiet ambiance after navigation. Well organized guided trip. The guide and the coordinator were knowledgeable and gentle.

Funny vegan tour with free snacks - Edit
I'd like to recommend this vegan tour I took together with other vegan travelers who had booked the same tour. It was a nice way to get a general view of the vegan movement and the vegan services and products in Buenos Aires City.
Read moreThe tour included a visit to different neighborhoods such as Palermo, San Telmo, Barrio Norte and Monserrat. We found lots of vegan options visiting restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and bakeries.
We also visited the only 100 % vegan supermarket in town, where we tasted a complete snack for free, including empanadas, sandwiches and chocolates.
We finally visited a crowded vegan fair which was a surprise for me as I found out lots of vegan people, more than I expected, together with lots of tasty vegan options.
The tour also offers vegan cooking classes upon request, but we didn't have that extra time !

Very disappointing - Edit
I am shocked other people had a good time on this tour. We went and looked at 4-5 vegan restaurants to look at the menu, at the 3rd place I asked to get food and the tour guide asked why I had not eaten before the tour. He was very impatient while I got a sandwich. Local restaurants were lovely and a few offered snacks. We went to the vegan grocery store the highlight of the trip. I wish I had gone there alone or ordered a taxi to look around the city. Worst of all the guide and I got in a fight about money and he insisted there were paypal fees I needed to cover which he had not previously mentioned. Then he PULLED OVER on the side of the road and locked the car while insisting I owed him money. I was very scared as. Women traveling alone. He was telling me how wonderful his tour was and how I owed him more money than originally quoted. Avoid. Go to vegan restaurants you find on happy cow and the grocery store alone, you’ll have a better time

Great experience in a meat country - Edit
We were a group of vegan friends. The guide picked us up at the hotel where we were staying in downtown. We headed first to Chinatown where we visited two Chinese groceries selling many vegan products. Great variety. We then visited a Vegan fair plenty of vegan live events, live music and amazing vegan people. We went on visiting a variety of vegan restaurants, cafes and bars, while travelling this huge city. Our last stop was at Loving Hut, where we stopped for lunch.
