Delicious sweets - Edit
We had the Caesar salad for lunch. And also the biscoff cheese cake and a cinnamon bun. The salad was OK but a bit bland. Would have liked more dressing. The cheesecake was fantastic and the cinnamon bun great as well!
Read moreThe café is located in the concert hall and the overall environment could be cozier but a great place to just sit and observe people.
Edit: had the meatballs with mash. So tasty but wished for a slightly bigger portion.

Pros: The sweets are great
Cons: The place could be cozier.

Hi, the dressing is definitely what makes the Caesar sing - you should have come up and asked for more! But we're super happy you enjoyed people watching and your desserts!

Very tasty coffee and cakes - Edit
Got a bit lost finding it, but glad we did. Just had two lattes, a cheesecake and a sweet pastry. The coffee was delicious, the cheesecake had good texture and flavour, and the although the pastry looked a little overcooked it was in fact perfect: slightly crispy on the outside but very soft & moist on the inside. The flavour was also very nice and not too sweet or overpowering. The wraps looked good too, but we opted to try other places for lunch during our short visit here. Only minor downside was the seats that weren't super comfy, but nothing terrible.

Very nice - Edit
Nice, relaxed spot for a lunch or coffee. A bit hard to find downstairs in the kulturhus, but worth the hunt.
Read moreThe tofu banh mi was very nice and I also had a creamy pastry, but that wasn't great. Tasted a bit like it came from a packet.
I'd still go back.
The kulturhus gift shop is worth a look while you're there.

Hi! I suspect that you got an old Semla that was intended to go on Karma (a good waste app). There was a little miscommunication here about.

So many lovely options- visited here a few times during my stay in Stockholm. Walnut pesto toastie and breakfast burrito were delicious. The cinnamon bun was amazing, also other cakes such as lemon and rhubarb, and a carrot cake. Good smoothies too.

Their lunch options and deserts are delicious - Edit
Went there for lunch a few times during my trip and the food and service were great! The only thing is that it kind of has a food court vibe because it’s on the ground floor of the theater and so might not be the best for meeting people on more special occasions but otherwise the food it worth it!

A must visit for vegans! - Edit
I visited Kafé Plattan for a mid-afternoon cake stop twice during my recent holiday to Stockholm. I liked the hot chocolate, kärleksmums, and semla cake. The café is modern and spacious, but still had a cozy and relaxing vibe. The service was friendly, and I didn't feel rushed to leave. Thank you to Kafé Plattan for the nice holiday memories!

Tasty & good price - Edit
Many delicious options, even baked goods. I had the typical Swedish dish with mashed potatoes and vegan meatballs, my boyfriend had a grilled sandwich with pesto. Both delicious. They have potato milk here! Wanted to try, but I don't really like it. I prefer oat milk for my coffee. They didn't have latte macchiato on the menu, but they made it anyways for me. It was more like a big cappuccino though. We ordered the kladkaka (Swedish sticky chocolate fudge pie) and a chocolate bullet with liquor flavour (mo alcohol). Didn't really like that liquor flavour but the kladkaka was nice, served with vegan whipping cream.

Thank you for your feedback! I ordered a Espresso. I usually drink specialty coffee fresh roasted, and I could sense that it was not fresh and had a burnt taste.

Of course we respect your opinion. But we're surprised because our beans are organic, fairtrade and always fresh. In fact they are the most expensive variety that our supplier provides. Maybe it's just not what you are used to.
