Second time around - Edit

on HC and a rating average of 4.5!
First time around however, about a month or so ago, I visited one and a half hour before closing,
they were completely out of all wraps, and had nothing except a few cookies to serve.
What's the point of even being open then?
The HC hype of this place dragged me back though,
so I went after picking up my bib for Stockholm Half Marathon 2025.
This time I visited around lunch time and they were pretty stocked up on wraps.
I picked the Philly Cheeze Steak Wrap 123 sek and the Rocky Road chocolate bar 28 sek.
Wrap specs:
"Philly Cheeze Steak Wrap":
"Juicy Marbles steak, Mushrooms, Caramelized onion, Ruccola"
I really liked the pulled pork style and taste of the Juicy Marbles "meat".
The caramelized onion added a perfect touch of sweetness to it.
There was some good sauce in there, I'd not say no to a little more of that.
I'm not a great fan of wraps actually, because I often find them too bready
and too dry, but I can safely say this one was superb.
Only downside was that it was quite small compared to the average wrap size.
It's a really light lunch for 123 sek.

I'm a sucker for sweets and this little bit delivered a sugar overload
right up my alley, with a super sweet buttercream like topping.
Only downside that it's quite tiny too?
Kudos and thanks for clearly labelling the items as vegan and gluten-free.

The Rocky Road and all our mini cakes are delicious, and well 'mini. 🙂 But we have plenty of full-size desserts for those looking for bigger sweet bites!

Many dessert options and vegan milk. The place itself is not very cozy as it's under the ground without windows but for a while it's ok and the desserts are worth it :)

Read moreTo be fair, we're not 'underground', but yes, the autumn, winter, and early spring months are our 'high season.' When it's dark outside at 3pm in Dec, we're a pretty sweet place to hang out.

Read morei was sad to see the meatballs are not on the summer menu, and i didn't like the vietnamese salad as it was too sour. the other options were good and the cakes are really good, especially the cinnamon bun, Kärleksmums and the biscoff cheesecake, which are simply amazing.

Great Find near our Hotel - Edit
We actually went twice during our visit. All the food was very fresh. Wonderful lentil soup, salads and sandwiches plus so much more. We did eat there but food would work well for take out. We actually took two delicious pastries with us to enjoy before our 3 am flight back to the states.

Arrived at Stockholm Central Station and walked straight to Kafé Plattan. Loved that everything is plant based here so no need to ask lots of questions or review the menu. We got a walnut pesto sandwich, Vietnamese noodle salad, and a Tofu banh mi. The sandwiches were on house made sourdough.

Still 100% vegan. I like that there are plenty of choices. The cakes we had were a bit dry though, and the restaurant area is not cozy, it looks more like a fast food place. Would still go back to try the food if I’m in Kulturhuset.

We got the meal deals, wrap, chips and coffee. The Philly cheese steak wrap was made with juicy marble steak but unfortunately was over-powered by mustard. The cafe could have been cleaner,the cutlery was dirty.

We had the Caesar salad for lunch. And also the biscoff cheese cake and a cinnamon bun. The salad was OK but a bit bland. Would have liked more dressing. The cheesecake was fantastic and the cinnamon bun great as well!
