Delicious seaweed burger - Edit
And that doesnt mean TDWB. The burger is a classic vegan burger on a bun, dressed up with crispy seaweed, some seaweed salad and nori sheet. I love how they create plant-based flavours of the sea, since many restaurants on the island only have a vegan Beyond Burger or a curry - *if* they have a vegan option.

Its also one of the few places on the island that has oat milk coffees. Would definitely recommend!

The portion size for me was okay-ish, but my partner really disliked the size. Small bit of rice, three pieces of kroepoek. The veggies were prepared very well though, the taste was good.

Opties zijn wel beperkt, maar ze hebben opties! Voor de nasi goreng gegaan. Was wat misverstand, alles werd nagevraagd. Smaak was niet authenthiek, maar voor een restaurant op Texel had ik dat ook niet verwacht. De groenten pasten niet geheel bij de nasi, maar waren lekker bereid.

Het was erg druk binnen, ook met veel kleine (schreeuwende) kinderen. Dit was niet helemaal lekker bijkomen na een fietstocht. Ondanks dat werden we wel snel geholpen en het eten kwam ook snel. De vegan kroketten op brood waren lekker maar niet heel bijzonder. Er waren nog een aantal andere vegan opties dus dat is positief.

The burger is marked on the lunch menu as vegetarian and later on with the dinner menu the same burger is marked as vegan.
The burger itself was decent, not spectacular. Served with a small side salad and some fries.

Veggie options adaptable to vegan - Edit
Just to be sure we checked if the pasta was without cheese. The waiter didn’t know immediately and went to check in the kitchen. It was possible to do it without. Either they don’t get many vegans asking for this or they don’t sell the pasta much. Portions are quite big. They have four veggie options that can be made vegan (goats cheese salad, shakshouka with feta). The pasta and Indian dish might be vegan already but I don’t remember. So definitely check before ordering. No problem asking for adjustments.
