Just arriving to Bilbao we were very hungry. The restaurant is located in the walkable, historic district. K2 was very lively, and the staff friendly. Order by number. I had the #23 Tofu Ahumado, which was a giant sandwich of smoked tofu and grilled mushrooms. We also had the #1 Patatas Teja (french fries) and #3 Aros de Cebolla (onion rings) with Veganesa sauce (vegan mayo).

The waitress was so nice and there were several vegan pintxos. I ate tortilla de patata and a bocadillo with no-chicken, salsa brava and pepper and both things where espectacular. My friend got the vegan hot dog and it was really tasty. Price is average for pintxos in Bilbao.

The service was questionable. The waiter was a bit distracted and forgot about my drink. The sandwich I ordered was rather boring. The mushrooms had the consistency of foam rubber and the tofu was undercooked.

Bar that serves vegan sandwiches, burgers and appetizers, along with meat options. The serving size is unexpected (big!) so maybe start slow with your orders. Overall the food is very greasy (to be expected in a bar?) and lacks freshness. There are salads available though if you want to try that.

The people were friendly, we could choose from 4 vegan pintxos options, and payed €15 for two pintxos, a beer and a GT! To top it off, they played YouTube videos of BattleBots on the tv inside 🤖

So so many vegan options and the food tasted absolutely amazing! I had a potato tortilla with onions and zucchini, a mini burger with falafel and a mini focaccia with onion rings. There was also a vegan dessert but I didn't try it.

I am usually enthusiastic when restaurants have multiple vegan options. K2 had many which is why we went there. Unfortunately the vegan croquettes were disappointing and the burger was just okay.
