Salad chain place - Edit
Just Salad is perhaps the best salad chain place in NYC. You order at the counter, they make you your salad, wrap, smoothie, or bowl, and you grab a table. THere are plenty of vegan options, all clearly labeled. I had a "Dirt Candy" salad here today (a summer special); it was great.
