Une pépite ! - Edit
Le lieu est très calme, très agréable. Pour le déjeuner c’est ne pas possible de réserver, il faut arriver un peu avant l’ouverture pour garantir des places (il y en a que six). Les plats sont très bien préparées, tout est délicieux.

Warm and comforting - Edit
Small restaurant with 4 + 2 counter seats inside and a few seats outside. One restroom is in the back. One staff member was running the show on a rainy Wednesday for lunch service when I arrived. I enjoyed my spicy miso ramen and slurped happily while the sky was deciding whether to rain. The noodles had a slight kink in them and were of medium thickness. I appreciated the generous helpings of green onions, seaweed, corn kernels, and soy crumbles. I wish the lonely slice of shiitake had some friends. But two pieces of fried tofu were sufficient. Service was quick and friendly. Reservations only accepted for dinner service, according to the sign with operating hours outside.

Super small and cozy - Edit
We bought three dishes to take away (bento, bento special and sushi) and they were all amazing, plus we finished our dinner with the Black sesame panna cotta, also very nice. The Japanese lady who owns the place was very nice with me and with my limited French (and non-existent Japanese). I cannot recommend it more, it's high quality vegan Japanese food, all pieces of sushi were different from one another!

Simple but well crafted - Edit
The bento box and sushi are indeed macrobiotic in their simplicity, but they’re beautiful and very flavorful. The restaurant is cute but absolutely tiny; fortunately they do orders to go.

Love the meal - Edit
I love sushi (nigiri), miso soup, and sweets.
Read moreThis restaurant offers all three. The sushi was creatively using vegetables to achieve tasty and colorful nigiri). I love that there is no processed items used, and the restaurant only offer whole food dishes. The miso soup is delicious and had a piece of puff tofu (and I loved that). I also ordered the matcha panna cotta with black sesame seeds, and topped with sweetened Adzuki beans. It was just delicious.
It was such a great meal experience! I will definitely remember this meal for a very long time. When I return to Paris, I will definitely revisit.

Strange - Edit
It's kind of a strange experience. First, the opening time often change, making it hard to find it opened. On Happy Cow, the restaurant's official website or their Facebook page, all three have different times.
Read moreThen, the place is very small. No tables, only a counter with a view on the kitchen, with only 6-8 seats. Moving inside the place is pretty hard, mainly when new customers arrive.
The choice is very limited, a bento or a ramen, with different options. I took one of each.
The ramen is good, but contains no fake meat, that's a pity. The bento is classic except for the tofu omelette.
For the dessert I had a lemon cake slice, coming with a kind of chantilly portion. A bit dry and a very subtile taste.
The ambiance is a bit weird. Once the restaurant opened at noon, the owner let the other customer who waited and I in, we sat down, and... nothing for 5mins. The owner was doing her stuff without paying attention to us. She's all alone in the kitchen, so it could take a bit before your order is ready. And we hardly can see the cooper's face as a curtain partly separate the customers from the kitchen. We can only see the bottom of her upper body part.
And for the music, we had a fully jazzy playlist, very strange with the rest of the decoration typically Japanese.
In the end, it was a weird experience, but not a total negative one. The ramen was good, the decoration was cool, I could come back.

Tiny little restaurant that makes you feel like you just teleported yourself to Japan when you cross the door - Edit
I really like this place, the noodles from the spicy ramen are delicious. I wish there was a tiny bit more tofu and veggies, but I couldn’t finish my plate anyway.
Read moreI don’t think it is a hipster place, the clients seem to usually be people working in the neighborhood – at least during workdays.
Low-key. Friendly staff. Feels human.

Little place for vegan japanese gastronomy. - Edit
Near the Parc des Buttes de Chaumont, this 5-seat restaurant offers refined Japanese cuisine.
Read moreSpace is limited, so it's best to arrive when the place opens, as it's difficult to communicate with the managers.
A beautiful bento box, ramen that looks very good, but unfortunately not many desserts.
In any case, it's a very intimate place to discover Japanese gastronomy.
Pros: Very good quality, very intime place, all is vegan
Cons: Difficulty to communicate, not enough seats, a bit expensive

Fantastic - But have a backup if you decide to go! - Edit
Small Update: Opening Times seem very random; and they do not reply on Facebook/Instagram/Phone, so it's impossible to know when they will be open.
Read moreI even went there on a day where they were supposed to be open...but they weren't.
So if you're planning to pay them a visit (their food is great!), be sure you have a backup in case they are closed.

This is our second time here.
The previous one we could only try the ramen; but now they had available the bento, the sushi plate and some desserts as well.
We're happy we came back!
The bento was excellent. It had a ganmodoki, makis, nems, oden, wakame salad and edamame. The sushi plate was also yummy: a nice variety of vegetables, mushrooms, or tofu.
As desserts we had the lemon cheesecake (gluten-free if you are wondering), and a matcha pannacotta. The pannacotta was delicious, and the cheesecake was not bad, although it could've been a bit more lemony for my taste.
All-in-all, because of the food and the interior, it really has a japanese vibe.
I'd recommend you to try it if you like this type of japanese food.
Oh, and the place is rather small (6 counter seats), so I strongly suggest you contact them and reserve in advance. Otherwise, take-away is possible.

Tiny but good food - Edit
We came here when our original choice was closed—we did not realize how tiny this place was. We had been looking for a place to sit down but the seating options here are almost nonexistent. It seems that calling ahead and getting carry out is the smart thing to do. We ordered the bento boxes since they’re easy to transport and ate in the beautiful parc des Buttes-chaument nearby. The food was good, especially the taro, tofu teriyaki, and slightly spicy sesame on top of the rice.

Delicieux ! - Edit
