I cannot rate the food - Edit
It pains me to say this, but cannot rate this food. The rating is forcing us to allocate 2 stars, otherwise we will rate it with zero stars.

I think they need a cook or a chef, as I doubt that they have either.
Even found a bit of aluminium in my food.
Presentation of food is also not great.
Tagliatelle were flavourless, lasagna a bit salty and not so well presented, yet the most tasty of the foods we ate there. We had other items on the list which were a bit salty and not very appetising.
The house red wine was warm and sour and the coffee was just awful with a burnt taste to it. I wouldn’t recommend any tourist visiting Florence to go to this place.
Sadly I had more flavourful vegan appetisers, salads, soups and main dishes in mixed food restaurants / cafes in
Florence.
The 4.5 star rating completely messed us up, otherwise if people who did not enjoy this place will take the time to post we wouldn’t have wasted our time to go there.
Pros: Affordable prices, Good service
Cons: Food was terrible , Food was either flavourless or salty, Smelly cafe.

Gorgeous food, great service - Edit
The service was amazing and the flavours in each dish gave an authentic taste with a flare. I got a lasagne, I also tried the eggplant parmaggio and the croquettes, all were very very delicious!

We both got the beyond burger, which was pretty small(tiny patty on a big bun). It was average. Cheesecake was very good. Rest of menu didn’t look worth ordering to us.

Read moreThe food was so good and consistent, that we dined here 5 out of the 7 nights of our stay in Florence. The ambiance was as spartan as the food was tasty, but it was fine for what we needed. Service was prompt and courteous. One nice thing was that the menu was up on the menu and had PHOTOS of every dish, making choosing both hard and easy, as everything looked good.

Beware of Closing Time - Edit
Their hours are listed that they are open until 10pm. We arrived at 9:10pm, on a Friday night, and was informed they were closing their kitchen and we would not be able to dine there. We had walked a long way to get there and were quite disappointed we wouldn't be able to support a vegan restaurant we were looking forward to trying.

Only two people in restaurant on a Saturday night between 7-8pm says something. All vegan menu is admirable. Food was ok. Eggplant parm was so salty, it was tough to eat. Service was good.

Two people only on that day and at that time mean that only on that day (fortunately only on that one) there weren't many vegans around. Of course, if the few vegans start writing useless negative reviews like yours, the vegan movement will never grow. The eggplant was not too salty, it was as it should have been in the recipe. In fact, everyone generally likes it. If instead of making criticisms you had talked about it with us maybe it would have been better.
