Ordered a falafel pitta for £6 with all the salad and pickles and tahini sauce. The wrap was good, particularly the falafel. Kept me full for the rest of the day!

Looking for a city centre place for lunch and we chose Humpit. Queuing out the door so seems popular. Although there was quite a lot of people waiting, staff were really efficient in getting orders out as quick as possible. Everything is fresh, the pitta lovely and soft, the falafels were hot and crispy, houmous smooth and creamy. At £6 I felt that was good value for what is quite a big portion and being based in the city centre. They offer a smaller wrap at £4.50 and salad bowls around £7 ish. Choices of either falafel, roasted aubergine, roasted cauliflower or vegan kebab. Plenty of sauce options too. Good option for lunch but is mainly a takeaway, very limited indoor seating.

I enjoyed my pita but I have to admit that I thought it would be amazing and it was only good. It just didn't have as much flavour as I am used to from other similar places, especially because I've heard people rave about it. Would have it again though

I have a problem with falafel when I’m eating somewhere and it’s that it can be really dry and sometimes it’s sold as the only vegan alternative. The falafel here is stunning, they have a lot of options for pita fillings and sauces. Overall, just a good vibe of a place.

I had a salad bowl here with two toppings, I got the aubergine and the cauliflower, plus it had loads of other things in the bowl, it was really filling. Very tasty.

You can get filled pitta breads or salad bowls. The salads are all fresh and you get a choice of plain or spicy hummus. I'd recommend the spicy hummus - it's not really spicy but tastes lovely.
Read moreThe salads themselves were fine. Nothing special. There's a small amount of space to eat in but it's really meant to be taken away.
Overall this is a good lunch option at a good price 😀

Fabulous ingredients, loved the kebab more than the falafel, the sauces were great, especially the mango curry.
Fries were nicely salted, can't go wrong.
Staffs were cheery, place is small, with limited amount of seating.
Got hangry so didn't take photos, the pitas will satisfy any hunger, it may look small, but it is filling!

The Stuff of Gorgeous Hummus-y Dreams!! - Edit
Visited today for the first time in yeaaaaars and it was Devine! Everything is so tasty. Even the pitta tastes better than any other pitta I’ve had. I got a hummus bowl with a 50/50 mix of spicy kebab and falafel and it was unbelievable, already can’t wait to go again- I definitely won’t leave it long between visits ever again. Staff were also so friendly and there are so many ways to customise your bowl you can really make it perfect for you.

I only found out recently that Humpit is back open, since then I have been getting my lunch from there basically every day. Really missed my little fix..! :)) Love the pittas but the hummus bowls and salad boxes make for a nice change every now and again. Sad they're not going the brownies anymore. I rediscovered my love for the roasted cauliflower though, makes up for it!

Partner and I have major stomach aches after going. Feel very ill after ordering completely different items. Fries were raw so couldn't eat. Also wasn't given cutlery with the salad box. I want to give 0 stars, will never go back.

Love this place for a quick, delicious takeaway! Everything is vegan, even the kebab (which is scrummy). Staff is lovely and happy to accommodate any requests (e.g. swapping one topping for another) and the portion sizes are huge. Highly recommended!! Just keep in mind you might need to queue during busy lunchtime hours.

hummus is great if a bit oily and rich. gluten free bread is very dry. Only three uncomfortable sold inside so mostly good for takeaway
