Very nice and filling vegan kaiseki

Really impressed by the kaiseki meal we got there! Kaiseki is usually more about quality rather than quantity but this was both! Left full and having had an amazing meal!
Every dish was delicious and the sake recommendations were on point!
Price in line with what you expect for Michelin star kaiseki with private room.
You can even contact them in advance to book a Maiko to your room!

15 courses, come hungry!

Beautiful traditional restaurant with a vegan option. Owner came and welcomed us and spoke wonderful English. We were incredibly full toward the end, so come with a big appetite! It is on the pricey side, and you can see why it has the Michelin star. Beautiful plating, and traditional secluded dining rooms

5 stars vegan traditional fine dining

We went here on the last night of our kyoto trip. It was an amazing experience. The rooms are very traditional, beautiful and the art/decor changes daily! The view of the river from our room was gorgeous!! The restaurant is 100 years old and family owned. The owners greet you during your dinner to give you an explanation of the restaurant and your meal. I'm very thankful for the opportunity to have a vegan Japanese traditional meal like this one. Please go visit!!! Book two days prior for the vegan option.

Long history of Kyoto and two Michelin stars vegan meal

Here if you want the best meal in Kyoto.
It may be the most expensive vegan food in Japan, but the quality is excellent. You can eat the long history of Kyoto. And two Michelin stars. What more do you want?
